if someone told me you are Cory Wong's brother, I'd believe it
Guitar demo where half the video is actually playing the guitar, good for change!
The push/push pots are awesome, so easily to use. No trying to pull up. 👍👍
That neck looks awesome!
Personally, the MIJ looks do it for me. Great playing:)
Scale length?
B string not properly located on string tree, at least in the walk-through.
Great demo. Feel better.
i fancy this guitar. always wanted the MIJ version.
I had the Kingfish signature Tele. Very similar. Fantastic specs. I wanted to love it so much but we just didn’t bond. I thought that it would be closer to a Les Paul in a Tele comfort body. Definitely not.
It's a damn beauty. I love the Cherry Sunburst ones with cream plastics too. Good stuff. I need to go play my guitar now. K, love you guys. bye!
i sold this one cause i did not like the neck, the search for the black beauty goes on
oh man push/push pots – such a great thing I vastly prefer them. Looks and sounds fantastic. A great, unique crossover option that becomes its own thing I think!
Great playing as always, really cool guitar and definitely it’s own thing. Obviously I think Eastman Juliet is a better alternative in the dual humbucker lo alternative realm 😂
STUNNING guitar, great sound and playing. You found another one with gold hardware that I somehow really dig!
I really like the spirit of the Fender Parallel Universe and Squier Paranormal series. I've never been one for "tradition", and think mixing and matching to capture inspiration is pretty cool…
I've never searched for any sort of Les Paul replacement, since I mostly like the single coil sound (besides on HSS Strat), but like 12+ years ago I picked up a Peavey Generation Custom EXP for like $130 on clearance, which has a double-bound Tele body, two vintage voiced humbuckers, and a piezo bridge — and an oddly pointy "metal" looking headstock! Figured it would be a good base for mods, but fast forward to today and it's become my go-to for a perfect jazz-guitar sound with the stock pickups. Phenomenal neck feel, too, which most players would've completely ignored from being MIC.
You never know, really. Sometimes a darkhorse just "clicks", while something that seems a sure bet leaves you cold.
It's always a joy to watch you play, very tasteful chords ! I would like to see a video talking about your journey as a guitar player, how it started and what are your influences, amazing video as always! Cheers from Argentina
Still have my MIJ Troublemaker. You’re right, it’s not a LP, it is its own thang.
Have a MIJ Troublemaker for a few years now. Amazing build, especially the feel of the neck. It's not super versatile, as I think the stock pups are rather dark & perhaps one day I'll switch them out. I've left mine in drop D in recent times – sounds massive with my marshal sv20. The cleans aren't bad, just not the 'glassy' style I'd run through my fender amp.
Good stuff! I believe this has the same electronics as the American professional ii deluxe. Pickups are very versatile with the splits. Neck single and bridge hb are 🤟Push/push is so nice! Can't understand why others continue to use push/pull. My 2 knocks. The 3 screws on the pickups. Went not 4? Makes mods more difficult. I'd like to see the poker chip on the toggle as well. But maybe that's too much trouble. 😆
Does this have the rounded neck that causes slipping? Man, I keep going back and forth on my Am pro ii. Keep or sell. Pickups great, neck plays great other than high e.
What a fantastic video have a wonderful weekend also stay safe jim
It'd be interesting to take the humbuckers in this guitar, and take an Indonesian made JA-90; and route it for humbuckers; and put in the humbuckers, and see how it would sound. It has the tune-o-matic and stop bar, like this one, as well as one volume and one tone for each pickup. The JA-90 has the set-neck. Maybe Cortek will do that one day?
My next guitar will be a musicman tele type with double single coils. I cant wait. Ill be ordering it next week. Ill let you know what i think after playing it for a few days or so.
I’m biased but best guitar ever 😁
hey men, what do you think of the jaguar vintera? I really want a jaguar but there are not a lot of options right now, basicaly you need to go from a vintera to a johnny mar…
