Catching up on this series. Pushing almost 1k views per episode and you are done until update with out Jet Pack? No big Dome? No new plants?
you could build a new transformer and supply for first if you want to have more control on the power going to the wells.
You sounded a bit down this episode and I wonder if that is affecting your decision to call a halt on this series. You have the rover so you will find the jet pack blueprint eventually. You also have a few more buildings left to build and you have a few other seeds to find and then to plant. I hope you reconsider, but if this is the end for now, this series and the last series have been brilliant, entertaining viewing. So thank you for both series.
iirc using the spectometer, the rover drill, and the big crusher will give you the most ore pieces per rock, each of them adds a bonus to the amount you find.
Haven't played the game, but it seems you can maybe add a sabatier to the wells with a water tank, wouldn't that increase water production? Maybe that way you wouldn't need so many wells

It is infinitely faster to mine with the Rover and use explosives to shatter the rock into pieces and use the crane to pick them up. Never use the cranes jackhammer even once. Try it, you'll see. One explosive can shatter two or three big rocks if they're close enough.
43:42 on the top left of the printer inventory it has a drop down menu saying player container, does that mean that it also has a separate inventory for raw materials aswell as the finished items?

As you saw, while it's quicker planting potatoes in a dome, it's using a hell of a lot more immediate resources (including using soil for a "basic crop." ) As I noted some videos (and another season) back, I said to let him play his way and learn from the experience. if he feels good quick harvesting potatoes in a dome higher water/soil costs, so be it, that's his way, as "costly" as that may be.
(But if I had one constantly over the madman series complaint, you can now make helmet repair kits, please make them and carry them/put them in your vehicle storage inventory. That's it.)
And regarding one resource rock collection, I like the manually drilling it to slabs then picking up with the claw. You are right, the drill sucks (but other users may differ in their opinion.)
Also, based on his linked power style, was wondering if could set up a reserved non connected "battery farm" (like just a solar panel and batteries, but maybe a backup transformer or two specifically could be used immediately or scrapped for its parts in case the main sets are destroyed to scrap level from said disaster) to hook up safely kept somewhere nearby, but that is a project in itself.
Wishlist last episode's reply posting aside, I would like to see the jetpack acquired before the game goes inert waiting for the update, but if he needs a break from this game, so be it.
