The European Le Mans Series (ELMS) is a motorsport endurance series inspired by 24 Hours of Le Mans. ELMS offers its competitors a full season of car racing on some of the best tracks in Europe and is split into three different categories: LMP2, LMP3 and LMGTE. The 2023 season runs between April – October and consists of six races, starting in Le Castellet and finishing in PortimΓ£o. The series is a natural training ground for drivers wanting to tackle the FIA World Endurance Championship with many aiming to become future world champions.

  1. Nothing he could have done about that, both times they just understeered right into into him. The first hit, the following car locked up while it was still Fassbender's corner, and the second hit he was on the far left side of the track, so plenty of room on the right. Maybe he could have decided to go wide to avoid the contacts (and risk a penalty) or defend a little bit earlier, but that's with hindsight.

  2. First one was ok because down hill breaking is sketchy especially when going on the inside, easy to lock up to try and make a tight turn. But the second one is just indefensible. Dude was already on the side making that tight corner….why carry so much to speed to understeer wide knowing its gonna be side by side? Just make the turn and have a drag race to T1

  3. Kinda feel bad for Michael. Le Mans resulted in a spin and crash at the last 4 hours and DNF. Now his next race; does really good at qualifying and now ruined by other drivers for a chance at podium. Man can't catch a break.
