This episode reminds me of the episode royal problem. It was nice that the episode was a reference to royal problem and I like it. Also did you have a good trip I have never been to a convention before so what is it like ?

Magical mystery cure all over again
I personally enjoyed this episode as well. I will say I didn’t like as much as the first three, but it was definitely better than the fourth episode. I loved detective Zipp and she continues to be best g5 pony in this, the shenanigans with Zipp, Pipp, and Izzy and the critters were entertaining, Sunny and Hitch trying to do each other’s jobs and failing was hilarious, and the ending where they reconcile plus the inclusion of their little hoof shake was really sweet. The plot of this reminded me a lot of Magical Mystery Cure and A Royal Problem from Friendship is Magic, but those are two of my favorite episodes of that show so it didn’t bother me in the slightest. I guess my main issue with this episode would have to be that the falling out between Sunny and Hitch felt a bit too contrived and forced. I just feel like it happened a bit too abruptly and could’ve used more buildup similar to how Celestia and Luna’s was in A Royal Problem. Nitpicks aside, I still liked this episode well enough and wouldn’t mind watching it again. I’ll probably also do my own rankings for these at some point like with Tell Your Tale, but I’d have to rewatch them all to know how I would rank them.
This episode contains a lot of "Sunny and Hitch arguing like a married couple" moments, and I'm absolutely down for it!

The only thing I found confusing about this episode was the other ponies and how their attitude towards Sunny seemed to do a 180 from Ali-Conned. It seems that Sunny was somehow able to get ponies interested in her community garden idea after all. How exactly? Was there something we missed in between the episodes? Did Sunny manage to convince everypony that they shouldn’t just respect her because she has cool new powers and a look? Also, since when were ponies interested in talking with Sunny while she works on their orders, and since when did Seashell express an interest in Equestrian history and mythology and sharing said knowledge with Sunny? In Ali-conned, the other ponies and the Filly Four rather snobbishly made it clear that they didn’t give a shit about what she had to say and her causes because she’s not an alicorn. Like show, don’t tell, people!

At first, I too expected this to be a Magical Mystery Cure-esque episode but the Between Dark and Dawn concept was still fun! I liked Sparky’s magic/character development, we all know that he’s gonna keep getting more powerful! Agreed that Portrait of a Princess is definitely best episode! Glad that UK Ponycon was a success, condolences for your notepad though!
