In the second episode of our Fallout 4 modded playthrough featuring the America Rising 2: Legacy of the Enclave mod, Mei Mei continues her journey through the Commonwealth, forging a path for the Enclave’s resurgence. After responding to a distress call in the previous episode, Mei Mei and Captain Peterson emerge from the Communications Array Tunnel, finding themselves on the grounds of an old U.S. Army Communications Array Base. The base, now overrun by a gang of raiders, stands as a critical objective for the Enclave.

With tactical precision, Mei Mei and Captain Peterson launch a full assault on the raiders, engaging in fierce combat to secure the base. After successfully clearing the area, they gain access to the communications equipment within and realign the satellite, reestablishing a crucial link for the Enclave. But victory is short-lived as more raiders storm the base, leading to an intense battle that tests both Mei Mei’s combat skills and her resolve. Together, Mei Mei and Captain Peterson emerge victorious, securing the base for the Enclave.
Their mission far from over, Mei Mei returns with Captain Peterson to the Government Wing of Vault 111 to report their success to General Ward. Impressed by their progress, General Ward assigns Mei Mei a new task: to inspect a Vertibird facility located due south of the vault. Understanding the importance of air support in the Enclave’s plans, Mei Mei agrees and sets off on this dangerous mission.
Upon arriving at the Vertibird facility, Mei Mei encounters heavy resistance from hostile forces intent on keeping the facility under their control. After a brutal fight, she manages to secure the facility, ensuring that the Enclave will have the air support they need to dominate the Commonwealth skies. Returning to Vault 111, Mei Mei reports her success to General Ward, who then leads the team-comprising General Ward, Captain Peterson, Lieutenant Fitzpatrick, Dr. Kane, and Mei Mei-back to the Vertibird facility.
As the group spends the night at the facility, General Ward reveals their next objective: the Oil Rig. Once a formidable Enclave base, the Oil Rig was destroyed decades ago and is now a crumbling ruin filled with danger. Mei Mei agrees to accompany them, and together they depart at first light.
Arriving at the Oil Rig, the team is immediately confronted by hordes of feral ghouls, a chilling reminder of the rig’s tragic past. Fighting their way through the decaying structure, Mei Mei and the team stumble upon a mysterious stranger clad in a military uniform. This stranger, Colonel Whitehill, reveals herself as the former commanding officer stationed at the Oil Rig until a catastrophic containment leak forced its abandonment nearly a decade ago.
In a dramatic turn of events, General Ward reclaims command of the Oil Rig, setting the stage for the Enclave’s return to power. As the episode ends, Mei Mei’s role in the Enclave’s resurgence becomes ever more critical, and the fate of the Commonwealth hangs in the balance.
