  1. Enjoying the conversation on fake bags, agree you can get a fake everywhere, it can slip through, and agree it is so difficult to authenticate on photos alone. I think the most bullet proof you can get is 100% lifetime guarantee, as you said, take back with no issues. And people who buy authentic and return the fake are revolting.

  2. Be careful with vitamin B12 and B6 vitamins Dacob. I stopped taking them when I heard high doses Vitamin B12 and vitamin B6 makes you at higher risk for Lung Cancer. If you research it will tell you.

  3. The Romina Rose May comment section DOES reveal all. As a detective, it fed me well. Saw a former mod, a YouTuber with no insight, and an astute comment about CT.
    Over and out. ❤

  4. Dacob, you need to join the Amazon influencer program if in case you haven’t. You could earn extra from the body wash you just mentioned. I’m interested and buying it now as I paused the video before I forget 😆

  8. I absolutely loved Paolos take on Karl and was a bit. ? about the comments… XD I remember with goosebumps (not in a good way) what Virgine did with her Camelia themed collection! Pimples… rashes… etc. Paolos Camelia approach was class.

  9. I can't get into the Triomphe canvas print, I don't know why. When you compare it to the LV monogram the LV monogram is so aesthetically pleasing with the colors and print working very harmoniously together. The Triomphe print looks muddy or muddled, it lacks life (IMHO). The quiet luxury bags I would have added are: Gabriella Hearst, Delvaux, and Ferragamo. And sorry, but Tory Burch is not luxury, she's right there with Kate Spade.

  10. I watch Lisa from Life and luxury in the middle and enjoy her content too, since we are similar in age. She's a lawyer and she always authenticates her bags that aren't bought from the actual boutique. Enjoy your channel Dacob… Keep bringing the live streams.

  11. Princess Lee Radziwill, Jackie Kennedy Onassis’s sister, married the prince of a region in Poland, which they had to escape after WWII. Carole Radziwill her daughter is known for being on Real Housewives of NY, but better known for her INCREDIBLE book abt overcoming grief and mourning the loss of her soul mate and finding happiness again… which was written after losing her husband to cancer (1 yr?) after the death of their best friends/cousins JFK jr & Caroline. Lee Radziwill has been a style icon just like Jackie- maybe moreso in some ways, and was an indomitable woman… hence I like the nod to her, & like the classic style/glamour of vintage bags they’re drawing from… But I highly rec. Carole’a book too. She reads it on audible.
Btw- is it just me?!? I’ve noticed that tori Burch is getting ALOT of attn from lux youtubers & social media influencers/content creators, particularly those outside USA.
Ive seen Tori Burch bags held up as examples by at least 6-7 ppl from Europe or AU, that spoke of the brand as if they had just discovered it, and as if they were assuming many viewers weren’t familiar with it either, which was quite intriguing for me the first few times I heard it.
Now, admittedly, the bags they were showing off were excellent examples from the brand and gorgeous bags that seemed to be very well constructed & high quality leather… which is important for everyone to be aware/remember in this age of stupid-expensive designer bags that are cheap AF (I appreciated the reminder to check TB out). I just hadn’t been aware it was a brand relegated mostly to N. America.
IMO, it’s obvious that more recently, they’ve been making a bigger push to promote and market da fuq out of the brand globally, in general… bc Ive seen it positioned in high end dept. stores next to other MUCH more expensive brands (in other countries); thus, Ive paid closer attn & seen the same in vids of ppl shopping in Australia, Madrid, London, etc…
The Lee Radziwill bag line may be their attempt to create some differentiation and higher quality/higher priced bags that fit into this marketing push. Perhaps they’re also sending bags to influencers or engaging them in promotional projects and that’s increasing brand awareness or acknowledgment/appreciation, as well?
I first noticed this when I watched a vid of Victoria McGraw (inthefrow) a while back, in which she was promoting the brand’s perfumes (they took her on a trip, I believe) and TB left some outfits for her to wear in her hotel (but no accessories), and it was memorable bc she remarked something along the lines of not knowing whether they made purses or shoes and accessories, but bc they hadn’t given her any to wear, she was going to wear her fav. neutral bag she brought blah blah blah… (bc these big time lux influencers just make their vids into one giant commercial anyways, or “advertorial” as she calls it…) Anyways, I was pretty gobsmacked that she worked for them and didn’t know they were primarily an accessories brand that’s grown into other areas. In another vid later, while at NYFW, she went to a TB show & thus needed to go by & get dressed by them beforehand… and she was super impressed by all the accessories/selection of items, which I again found humorous; bc she had been a perfume and fashion ambassador, she hadn’t known abt their offerings.it wasnt until I saw other ppl/creators featuring the bags WITHOUT SPONSORSHIPS and talking abt how impressed they were or suggesting viewers to look for alternatives to other popular bags/styles in the TB lineup… that’s when I really understood that Tori Burch hadn’t been known elsewhere; or likely, hadn’t existed in the global market really- until recently.
Then, I saw someone else (on IG maybe?) that was working in the same perfume ad campaign for TB so the co. may have entered the EU or global market that way first? Perhaps?
I just know that Victoria vid was prob the first time that the situation re: euro/global lack of Tori Burch brand awareness caught my attn. It wasn’t a big deal of course bc I’m not some TB super fan… Ive just bought a few TB bags, shoes, and some SLGs in the past, so I found it curious. What really intrigued and interested me was their current, very timely, positioning in the euro/global market (seemingly) as a low key luxury brand… instead of just a Kate spade or coach competitor/alternative.
Lately though, I keep seeing ppl- from Mel in Melbourne to Sophie Shohet,- highlight TB bags and show examples in hand, speaking of them very highly and praising the leather, quality, beauty, details, etc… & just referring to them as alternatives to all the overpriced, poor quality, luxury brands/bags… i.e. bags that are more “affordable” than other lux bags, & attractive, well made, stylish, and interesting/trendy/beautifully embellished… but look expensive.
I assume, this is going on in greater society in these places across the globe as well; and it would make sense, esp. given the current commercial climate/dynamics, and if Tori Burch has played their cards right, they may have poised themselves perfectly– to fill the vacuum as a more economic & consistent option & a brand that can offer “more”… quality, resilient material, more luxurious detailing, as well as more accessible items, & just more economical offerings– it’s a brand that can meet a wide range of preferences & price points, and the classically feminine aesthetic is one which doesn’t readily go out of style; but the fact that the clothes and accessories often lean into preppy, flirty, bohemian, cutesy & whimsical designs also likely helps it maintain a fresh appeal that would certainly be attractive to these new markets and returning customers, as well.
These creators, influencers, vloggers, etc. whom belong to a segment of the population that’s generally considered to be “early adopters” of new, or up-and-coming ideas, brands, styles, & trends, etc… I assume, likely havnt really paid attn to the brand or heard of it previously. That’s Unlike many Americans, whom have generally reached a level of brand/design fatigue in regard to the TB logo, shoe/bag designs, & just their brand identity or general aesthetic… in the sense that they’re likely overlooked by most ppl, or forgotten abt. Which is seemingly the opposite from the dynamic surrounding the brand in these other regions, which are not familiar w/ the company or its history, evolution, or missteps, nor the fact that it’s traditionally been kind of grouped in w/ brands like coach, Kate spade, and Michael Kors etc…for good or for bad.
If I’m correct on my observations and connections… I can REALLY see this new found attention & relevance in the global marketplace working out in Tori Burch’s favor INCREDIBLY well, if they continue to play their cards right… Esp if they can keep putting out some high quality, richly detailed, nice bags that are versatile and functional; & they may even awaken a renewed interest in the brand by American consumers, much like what is going on with coach right now.
HOWEVER im VERRRYY curious to know how TB & coach are seen in these global markets, what viewers’ opinions of them are and how they think their doing, or considered, in the fashion market in general… Coach, in turn, bc they’re putting out some LOVELY bags that are fully leather lined and the leather is QUITE nice. They additionally have functionality/versatility on top of mind, and know how to appeal to a diverse audience/consumer base; also, can do collabs or release fun/fresh designs that draw in the younger or older ends of the market- & even men.
I’m curious to see where coach goes and I’m looking at a coach bag right now. I’m actually going to look at the Lee Radziwill collection from Kate spade, bc I LOVE that lady! She’s the def. of style, class, and elegance…
Would love for you to consider doing a segment abt these “economical luxury brands” that are sticking to craftsmanship and quality materials, listening to customers, and foremost- keeping prices within reach… they seem to be on the verge of really taking off. Globally, perhaps…!
It’s good there’s SOMETHING that can pressure the major fashion brands/corps. Or atleast show them that it’s not that less ppl are buying things… it’s that ppl reach a limit when they think things simply are NOT worth the price. And these companies are also working off of budget sheets/buying trends that include 2020-2022 when ppl were buying 2-3 X as much stuff, esp luxury stuff, than they ever had before… so they need to back up and look at prepandemic spending… & expect that even the richest ppl hold back when there’s economic uncertainty looming. Offering less and charging more is NOT the approach to take in a climate like this. That’s why I think more attn towards ands that are economical and impressive for what they’re offering, will really start to get, and keep, Ppl’s attn…

    Thanks for the Great vid!
(Sorry the comment is so long, I got a little carried away 🤪)

  12. Dacob Darling, it’s late here, I’ve had a wine so I’ll get Sassy just for you 🫦
Let me tell you I love the quote
‘Money doesn't change you; it reveals who you are when you no longer have to be nice’…… Let’s just say my sit down video where I suggest these sorts of things, trust me ‘people’ demand a large sum to promote these companies that are ‘allegedly’ not in good standing. Even if it’s not above board her eyes have turned green…. and this is where I am questioning it all 😅 Sooo bottoms up🍸
