  1. Some advise:

After you get the first alien ship kill for tech, don't attack the aliens again directly. Or they will just start making more ships, and tech up their ships.

You can defend yourself, but don't chase after them. This until you can make ships that can kill multiple aliens ships by themselves.(with plasma say).

  2. At this point I guess one can start wondering if one should consider going towards a Greater Europe research, so one can eventually integrate Turkey in to the EU as well and free up more CP for a different region. Also it would reduce how many points you might have to defend if hostilities continue to get worse.

  3. Uhhh Potato you need to group your ships tighter together so that they can support each other with PD
Also manually pointing nose towards enemy at the start of the battle is much more reliable, don't just let them drift forward into enemy, do a burn to the right/left/up/down.

  4. This is somewhat minor compared to other game mechanics, but it may be worthwhile to pay attention to where your destination is in its orbit when it comes to sending out probes and ships. Depending on what time of year you send something (particularly to bodies in the asteroid belt and beyond), it could take three times as long to get there.

  5. Peru when playing Humanity First had some really good combat examples of alien combat. Especially when he first started fighting them after laying low. He really made it look super simple.

  6. servants having trouble ain't totally out of the ordinary.. it all depends on if you can keep them from grabbing the good countries.. you force them to be in the 3rd world.. you can almost(but not quite) ignore them the rest of the game as long as you watch their science because they'll be playing catch up the entire game…. not to mention the servants seem to have acouple MUST HAVES in the early game.. 1st.. they LOVE Great Britian.. don't ask me why but idk if ive had a game when they didn't get them first.. 2nd Indonesia… and lastly they love themselves some russia.. Beyond those big 3.. I don't seem them push into china or india unless they basically given it to them by the aliens

  7. If you get the strategic deception and the Matryoshka techs you can increase your Mission Control usage without angering the aliens as much although it's been nerfed if you're playing on the most recent patch

  8. I've been playing the Servants after my first run, cough cough, and it seems that the Aliens need a certain number of abductions in the place they land their invasion, which Potato has greatly curtailed just by detaining/killing a large number of aliens. With a Moithership in orbit, the Aliens might just be trying to scout a landing for the invasion, but perhaps no nation currently qualifies as a target!

  9. Your ships weren't shooting because they have a thirty second cool down on the main laser, and you were sitting on real time speed. They were firing, just very slowly.

India is super easy to hold when you get it because of the Religion CP, which gives a (massive) bonus to your public opinion if you spent even 4% in unity.

  10. The banality of evil: bureaucracy!😁 When reviewing an agents attributes, he said that her only bad attribute is "ethics", which means she will not like him committing atrocities!

  11. Regarding why your ships weren't firing: they were, but the effect is bugged and often does not show up – thats why the enemy ship was damaged after the close pass (can also see the little "taking damage" icons next to the enemy ship portrait). Hopefully they fix that soon as it makes it very hard to visually see what is going on.

  12. Your ships are not shooting because the battery cannot recharge fast enough with a single battery. If you put another battery in a utility slot you should have more flexibility in energy recharge and the issue should go away.
