A contingent of around 400 ADF personnel deployed to work alongside other Five Power Defence Arrangements FPDA nations – Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore and the United Kingdom – to train air, land, and maritime forces in support of the coordinated defence of Malaysia and Singapore. πŸ‡²πŸ‡ΎπŸ‡³πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡ΈπŸ‡¬πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί

The exercise marked the ADF’s first deployment of both #AusAirForce F-35A Lightning II aircraft and a @AusNavy clearance diving team as part of an FPDA exercise.

The ADF contingent also included #AusAirForce C-27J Spartan light tactical aircraft and crew, KC-30A multi-role tanker transport aircraft and crew, E-7A Wedgetail airborne early warning and control aircraft and crew as well as an @AustralianArmyHQ infantry platoon and support personnel, and a group of command, support, and specialist personnel embedded in the FPDA’s Headquarters Integrated Area Defence System.
