Everything you need to know about Broomsticks or Besoms and Samhain witchcraft || Halloween Series

Broomsticks are a fun tool, lets face it they are the epitome of witch’s tools and I love them. Primarily used in cleansing rituals and ‘stirring’ spells, besoms or broomsticks are useful in so many ways. I wanted to share with you how you can make easy miniature brooms for use in your everyday witchcraft, and showcase the traditions, rituals and magickal practice associated with traditional witches. From jumping the broom to clearing your workspace the broomstick is a must have tool for every budding witch.

Part of my Halloween series on witchcraft tools that you might use for samhain, or really in any part of your daily witch life. See the other videos in this series here:

  1. I just love your videos! I have a medium besom over my front door, on the outside of my front door and on the wall in my kitchen. I heard that back in the 1800s the people would run in their crops and jump up, while running, to show their crops how to grow. This also could kind of look like flying, I guess, which Is why they said witches could fly. I'm sorry I don't know who or where this took place but anything out of the ordinary or that looked different at the time was always misconstrued as witchcraft back in the day! Have a lovely day and thank you again for your video… I love your blouse 👚 by the way, beautiful! Xo

  2. Thank you for the video, Ginny. I made my own broom from a birch tree we have on our property. It turned out quite lovely and during the month of October I keep it outside my front door. I usually keep it in the bedroom during other season.

  3. Could you do a video on home/land protection wards? I live on a decent chunk of land, and would love to learn what would be great for protection in that sense! ♡ Thank you for your videos, they're so informative and love your energy.

  4. In my country, it says that, if someone put the 🧹 on a married couple's bed, they separate in 40 days 😅
In this season I sprinkle some cinnamon EO on my broom, I feel it does more witchy cleanings, as always thank you, Ginny 💜BB 💜
