  1. Im seeing a historically white winning Pats franchise gone with its white fans gone.

You cannot rebuild around color defensively.

NE needed a new head coach, a black QB is a dumb idea. USC QB is not up to NE standards.

  2. The Patriots were broken by the retirement of Dante Scarnecchia and the following erosion. A great o-line makes everything work. Slow wide receivers can get open. Bill compounded it with the Patricia fiasco. If McDaniels was the OC this whole time, Bill would probably still be coach, Jones would likely be a mid-pack QB that needs weapons, and Bill would draft another linebacker or defensive back instead of an elite wideout.

If Bill had plugged Baker Mayfield into the 2023 Patriots we'd be talking about what hot garbage Mayfield is.

  3. Mac Jones is a career back up and nothing more. The only reason we would keep them is because he’s cheap still doesn’t mean we won’t try to find somebody to slip in and take the position of number one QB.

  4. Face of the franchise is your QB and it seems nobody likes Mac Jones including his teammates. Mayo needs to bring his guy in to lead the franchise. Get one of these mobile QB's that should help the O-line plus this draft is loaded with wide receiver talent.

  5. Trade Mac n grab a new qb and some wrs and problem solved y’all can blame line this an that but zappe played ok which lets me kno that any real great qb with confidence can put things together , let Mac go pls ! He don’t wanna be a patriot anyway

  6. Playing the race card like that is a weak bish move. He's making it clear that if he fails, he can't be blamed or held responsible because black. It's 2024, we're past this. Get over yourself, you have the same options and opportunities as any other race. F-ing weak.

  7. If they don’t draft a quarterback they can get A LOT of picks for the #3 pick of the draft. They could use those picks to rebuild the team. I think the big thing is who the coach hires as OC and if the OC can work with Jones. I think Jones is like Purdy…he can play but he needs talent. As an African American I am fine with the coach bringing up race since it is a topic people don’t want to talk about. We even have a candidate who is running for President and was the Governor of the first state that seceded from the Union who didn’t want to bring up Slavery as a cause for the Civil War.

  8. Idk I’m torn because if we take MHJ we could have a Miami dolphin situation where yea we have the talented WR but without the QB none of it works especially come playoff time

  9. He brought up race not because patriots organization is necessarily racist, but Boston, Massachusetts and the surrounding area has been described as a racist version of San Francisco. Like if Waco, Texas in San Francisco had a baby . Yeah there liberal, but they are also super racist. So, the coach they would have a problem with him out the gate. And he had to address the environment he was coming into in the region, not necessarily the organization. Please try to look past your privilege Mike. You’ve never had to worry about race because your race was never affected.

  10. I was prepared to try to like Mayo but he comes across so arrogantly that I don't like him. He doesn't seem to be for the Patriots, but more so for a political ideology.

  11. He didn’t bring up race the reporter did and he’s allowed to talk about race since racism is something my people deal with everyday so don’t say it like mayo has to keep his mouth shut and just be grateful for his opportunity because he didn’t get job because he was black and there have. Been a host of white people promoted to head coach with as much or less experience than mayo and I didn’t hear you say anything about that I’m not saying you’re racist but why does a black man talking about race trigger you you just showed me who you are I know I’m just one person and I know you don’t care but I’m definitely unsubscribing from you channel

  12. SMH Mike, 🤦🏾 someone saying they can't/don't see that I'm black, downplays/undermines my journey and what it takes from an individual for those with all the decks stacked against them can still be a LeBron James (level), a Lamar Jackson (level), or a Ray Lewis (level) even with the global system denying access🫣… It sounds kinda racist but I'll give you the floor🤷🏾… Cause to cover mostly black athletes and be racist is both condescendingly vulturous, and just plain WEIRD 🤷🏾🤣👀
