  1. The masons are modern day templers. These men are masons visiting the work of there ancestors. Any organization that has to operate hiding below ground in secret. Is not a trustworthy organization.

  2. Templars initiated in the mystery school in "Egypt" better know as kemmit. Brought it back to Europe.. but judging by the level of "craft"manship compared to the ancients, sumerian,Egyptian, Babylonian etc. Barely Adepts. Novices

  3. This show is so stupid. It's one of those things that I hate these kind of shows but quasi reality shows were by the end of the episode they've got some amazing discovery that really deserves to be followed up on only to never hear about it again I absolutely hate this format of show

  4. Years ago, I had the privilege of watching a fantastic movie about Oak Island. It told a completely different account of what happened on Oak Island, and what happened to the treasure. It was film called The Money Pit, where Tom Hanks played Rick Lagina, and Shelly Long delivered a riveting portrayal of Martin Lagina. I found it very interesting how the film showed that the Lagina brothers actually have a much, much closer relationship in real life than they imply they do on the television show. According to the film, the key to solving the Oak Island mystery is tracking down a pair of house restoration contractors known as The Shirk Brothers. It's powerful film that changed my entire perspective of the Oak Island mystery, and relationship between Martin and Rick Lagina. It's a must watch for every Mystery of Oak Island fan!

  5. The curious head tilting of the person on the cross is very similar to that used by the dancers of the Mevlevi dervishes, and a connection between the Templars and the dervishes has been suggested.

  9. The carvings appear to be a history of Martyrs and Saints in Christianity like , Christ on the cross with Mary and John known as a ' Rood Cross ' ~ Saint Catherine with the ' Breaking Wheel ' ~ The Holy family depicted with members of the clergy known as a ' Triumphal Cross ' ~ The number 1347 if it was carved on the brick post 1611 may be a reference to ' Acts 13 : 47 ' ~ Hard to believe there would be a carving of Mesuline a pagan demi goddess with them makes no sense at all …

  10. I can proudly say I've never watched a single episode, got to this page thinking it was something different and ended up reading some of the comments. Like Seinfeld, it's "a show about nothing." The whole Oak Island treasure legend is for gullibillies, nothing found because nothing was ever buried there.

  11. If Zena's templar map is from 1347…and the current theory is that the swamp was a harbor and a ship was scuttled there… then why does the map not reflect more of an indentation of a harbor? The map shows a smooth curve following the contours of the present day island and swamp.

  12. the 3 kids that found the money pit said they came across an old pully in a tree and a depression in the ground. if you were hiding something you wouldnt leave the pully in the tree, but if you were removing something in a hurry you very well might leave that pully. just a thought.
