  1. If you were ever looking for a good reason to support the channel…FIFTY FOUR edits I made to this video…because Toei was claiming the tiniest…tiny little portions over and over and over and over again. Fifty four times over the course of 4 weeks I edited, re-edited and uploaded and edited etc etc until you got this final version. Absolute nightmare but I'm really happy to finally present the video. I hope you enjoy and please consider supporting the channel, it means a lot: https://www.patreon.com/thehonestgamer

  2. This is the first time I’ve been able to see this movie in any capacity. And, as per usual, this was another winning episode of this reaction series. Thanks for sharing it with us.

  3. not a spoiler but the 6th movie was directed by mamoru hosoda, also if you want to learn about what people call movie 0, the movie that was done by a different animation company and even had a different cast for nami zoro and luffy, (sanji and usopp hadn't been introduced yet) and was released well before the anime was i recommend kyoto video's video on the movie

  4. Regarding Sanji's shoes, he did destroy several boulders and a large door without them. The problem wasn't so much lacking strength, but more the lack of protection against those spikes. And also possibly a better footing, I can't imagine having to do acrobatics while wearing flip-flops.

  5. For me, the best canon things to come out of the movies are the OSTs! The "Clockwork Island's Collapse" OST is one of my favorites and will play during some of my favorite scenes in the canon story.

  6. I love that everyone but Luffy is wearing wedding clothes. Like, obviously Nami was going to be put in a white wedding dress for that, and Sanji was ABSOLUTELY going to dress himself up as the groom because of that… but Zoro is dressed in traditional Japanese formalwear for a wedding, and Usopp's got Heian Court Official garb on (which I believe was also used during weddings). Also find it funny that Sanji's groom outfit DIDN'T come with shoes, likely because they bought the costumes from a beach-wedding venue shop!

  7. You missed another win in the end credits. They are a "preview" for the future islands and characters in the grand line! If you paid attention you will recognize them. I wrote "preview", because you don't get to see a part of the story you will see with the straw hats but it's just the characters doing their own thing before the straw hats arrive at the grand line. I really love that detail and having albeit very little more backstory for the characters that you won't have without the movie.
