Devil Fruit users typically act like the fruit they consumed. Believe it or not. Black Beard lurks in the shadows. Luffy adapts (changes) to any situation. Ace had a fiery spirit and personality. I believe Imu-Sama has the Void-Void, or Nothing-Nothing Fruit. Enabling the user to manipulate the void. If one could do that they could do anything via negation.
1.) A Void user could negate their own aging.
2.) A Void user could erase things from existence.
3.) A void user can exist and not exist at the same time.
We see all this with Imu. Imu sits on the throne as sovereign, but no one knows Imu even exists. Imu exists and doesn’t simultaneously. Never leaving the location because Imu would be exposed, and everything would be lost. Just like Schrödinger’s Cat. The cat’s alive in the box; However, the cat dies upon looking directly at it inside the box. Imu also probably used void manipulation to negate aging. Making Imu the oldest living character in One Piece. Imu lived long enough to develop insane awakening techniques that can erase entire areas from existence. The last hint is the name of the century that was erased. The VOID Century. NOTHINGNESS. If everyone knew someone that powerful existed everyone would be afraid. Black Beard can negate the powers of fruit users from touch. So awakening might extend that beyond his touch. Luffy’s Gum Gum fruit enables him to bend. Awakening likely increases the bending to crazy limits. Enabling him to “bend reality”, and potentially bend around void manipulation. That’s why they’re becoming problems for Imu.
