Sanskriti encountered quite a many naysayers when she was starting out, both owing to the fact that she started her enterprise fresh out of college, and that she was a woman.

Her advice on how to handle such people and opinions hits home, as she lays out path towards success while navigating through negativity. Sanskriti also talks about the importance of having a solid team backing you up through ups and downs.

The prototype testing stages in schools of Ranchi were beyond her expectations, as they started seeing increased turn out in village schools owing to her product ‘Annie’.

Sanskriti informs of the dire state Braille literacy across the world is in. With literacy percentages below 10 across the globe, there is much to be done to bridge this gap, and get this section of the population independent contributors to the economy.

In order to build awareness around their product and the issue, Sanskriti and her team kept applying to various competitions, and that is when their pitch got selected to feature in Shark Tank India.

This gave them the much needed momentum and generated massive social awareness about Annie. Talking about the future of Braille literacy, Sanskriti shares her vision in building a content ecosystem around braille literacy, heralding a revolution akin to the smartphone revolution.
