The roof bras look like they had hair on them. I can't find anything on Mohair, but I'm guessing it might not grow bacteria as well.
If there's a frunk, might handle a bit like a rear mid-engine??
Did you consider Edison e axle or did that come out too late for this project?

Glad to see this ole girl get some love finally! Great to see pre family Hoogie in some old footage too!
Wow! What a project.π² I'm actually kind of amazed that they had a hydraulic power top for those in 1948, and the hydraulics are still mostly intact!π I did some trading around with a friend of mine back in the late 1980's for a late 1947 1/2 T. pickup (looked like the '48s), in running condition with a 216 – 6 and a 4 speed. I was more interested in the cab and chassis, and built myself a 1 ton flatbed dually with a later model 250 – 6, and a 5 speed O.D. trans. out of a military duece-and-a-half. I drove that truck for over 22 years before I finally retired it and sold it in 2012.π
@debossgarage have you verified the charging setup? I don't remember specifics of generations but I believe Nissan used a older charger style that isn't used anymore. Being you, there might be a way to convert but I'd check to make sure you can use current electronic infrastructure before continuing with the leaf
Cool Car.
The good news is:
It shouldn't be too hard to put a 292/T5 in it after you get done destroying the Leaf.
why is the Chevy on 6 stud wheels?
Isnβt duck a goose?
Someone tell the media blaster guy that; Sand is glass, glass is sand…
awyeah sweet
i suppose you did all your research into silicosis, and have taken the proper precaution to prevent it?
it didnt look like the right ppe, but i know the camera can be deceiving.
Would you be better off using the Nissan floor, seats and brakes, etc. so that the sensors will still be there and get maximum use out of the donor car?
Looks great I'm really looking forward to seeing this car finished thanks for the great content!
Get with "Aging Wheels", i bet he can collab to get the battery pack to an optimal range.
Silent cars are amazing.
Until they stop working.
The music is epic in this new series. That intro is huge. Iβm only here for the music.
so that old man still owned the car?
I wasn't going to click on this one cause I really don't have an interest in ev. Glad I did though! It's dope that this isn't a swap looking to go fast. Hearing that youre bringing over a lot of the leaf dash makes me really interested to see how you tackle finding harmony between the 1940s and now.
Wuuuuuuttt
Traded???
0 dollars came with ???
EV or HYBRID? Which way will this car be built? Please let us know in the next video. (You probably told us in this video, but, like so much, I missed it.) Thanks!
This build is gonna be exciting! gonna be an awesome car.
I mean, a fellow Ontarian doing wild swaps with anything and everything, however they want to, agitating purists in the process? What's not to love?
If you've got a fleet of vehicles, why not diversify what you've got?
There used to be a real good chrome shop in Kitchener years ago
Nice to special guest Canadian Jack Black again
