  1. The roof bras look like they had hair on them. I can't find anything on Mohair, but I'm guessing it might not grow bacteria as well.
    If there's a frunk, might handle a bit like a rear mid-engine??

  2. Wow! What a project.😲 I'm actually kind of amazed that they had a hydraulic power top for those in 1948, and the hydraulics are still mostly intact!πŸ˜‰ I did some trading around with a friend of mine back in the late 1980's for a late 1947 1/2 T. pickup (looked like the '48s), in running condition with a 216 – 6 and a 4 speed. I was more interested in the cab and chassis, and built myself a 1 ton flatbed dually with a later model 250 – 6, and a 5 speed O.D. trans. out of a military duece-and-a-half. I drove that truck for over 22 years before I finally retired it and sold it in 2012.😊

  3. @debossgarage have you verified the charging setup? I don't remember specifics of generations but I believe Nissan used a older charger style that isn't used anymore. Being you, there might be a way to convert but I'd check to make sure you can use current electronic infrastructure before continuing with the leaf

  4. I wasn't going to click on this one cause I really don't have an interest in ev. Glad I did though! It's dope that this isn't a swap looking to go fast. Hearing that youre bringing over a lot of the leaf dash makes me really interested to see how you tackle finding harmony between the 1940s and now.

  5. I mean, a fellow Ontarian doing wild swaps with anything and everything, however they want to, agitating purists in the process? What's not to love?

If you've got a fleet of vehicles, why not diversify what you've got?
