I disagree with the conclusion that somehow USA is the one to blame for this. USA did not put Europe in this position, Europe did this all on its own. Actually Trump warned Germany about this during his presidency, and Germany basically laugh at him. Europe are the ones to blame for their own situation. Is about time Europeans take some responsibility for their own decisions and actually direct their anger towards the true responsible for this crises. Our leaders. Merkel of Germany was right when she said that the sanctions imposed on Russia is only for the benefit of the Unites States at the expense of Europe. Not long from now, the EU and NATO member states will be compelled to lift their sanctions and resume getting the much-needed gas from Russia or else people will continue to suffer hardships due to inflation and the coming winter. It is time for Ukraine to discuss peace with Russia as Putin offered after Russia's annexation of the southern part of Ukraine. Without the peace process, Ukraine will end up losing the war and destructions because once EU and NATO member states started lifting the sanctions, Ukraine can no longer expect military assistance from these states. For America with the impending policy reversal of EU, it will have no more option left but to abandon Ukraine as it did to Vietnam and Afghanistan.
