This quick first impressions video is my take on the current state of escape from tarkov as of December 28th 2021. The game is extremely punishing and crushes the hopes and spirits of all new players, this is normal. But as you play Tarkov, you will get better, learn the maps and tactic’s necessary to survive. Escape from Tarkov has a deep learning curve and is the chess of fps games where games like cod or apex are checks. Tarkov rewards patience, cunning and practice. If you jump into tarkov and play it like any other fps you will be in for a bad time. While I recommend tarkov as a casual player, understand the road will not be easy.
