Episode 48 | Raymond Mearns | Some Laugh Podcast

This week the boays are joined by legend of the Scottish comedy scene Raymond Mearns. Raymond draws upon his over-20 years of work on the road as stand-up to regale them with some hilarious stories and words of wisdom – and reflects on some of his showbiz experiences on Limmy’s Show, acting in Ken Loach films (not to mention the Cheesestrings advert) and opening for Pete Doherty on tour. Raymond also reveals his uncanny experience with a psychic medium, explains the importance of failure in achieving success and why letting go of ego is crucial in stand-up and life. Plus just hunners of other stuff covered by a guest the boays have been excited to have on since the podcast began. Sit back, relax and enjoy Mearnsy-Baby!

You can see Raymond at the Edinburgh Fringe in the Beehive at 7PM from 4th-28th August. Tickets here: https://tickets.edfringe.com/whats-on/raymond-mearns-is-alive-in-the-hive
