I love having my morning coffee and watching this podcast every week! This episode was sooo good. Its great getting to hear from these creatives in such a layed back and fun way. The whole concept and structure of this podcast works so well, and i just wanna praise everyone who played a part in bringing this sublime and fulfilling podcast to life! Also love the addition of those dreamy lights, they really set the vibe and feel as though we are travelling through the endless abyss of dream state possibilities.
Hey my mom lived at Stockwell Hall for 2 years! Before she got married and became a Stockwell
Edit: in reference to Lin saying that's where she lived at UofM
Ayyyy a fellow fly-over country Midwesterner! Always love seeing one of our own do awesome stuff, especially when they grew up working class too. Much love from Indiana 🌽
Does anyone know if Lin is Jewish? She reminds me so much of my bubbee 😂
Lin is such an enjoyable energy no surprise of the conversation you had with her seems like you needed a whole day with her. She's been in so many horror movies you'd probably need a week to chat about all of them but critters coming up was fun because she's correct that they are scary but the movie is still very humorous. Lastly she of course was in A Nightmare on Elm Street my favorite horror movie her scenes were part of the best dream of the movie for me. And I do hope she will keep being in movies for years to come!
Ah yes, let us journey into the further.
i only heard about this podcast when james mentioned it offhand recently, it might be worth doing a round of promo or something
8:45 friend of mine is a drama therapist that also worked with his acting troupe in prisons
I’ve never listened to an interview from her until now. I can’t imagine a better group of hosts to welcome her in to tell her story. Thank you so much for having her on and for posting this ❤️
She is a genuinely awesome character actor of all time. Thank Jeebus for those stuffed animals.
Lin’s scariest role def was The Landlady in Kingpin! Love that Elise Rainer got to come back for Insidious 3!
This is so chill and a great pair of people. Lovely guest and lovely hosts 🤘
The legend, the myth, the lady of the hour! Lin Shaye, everyone
Does she age she’s looked the same for years lol
We need to get a Michigan-focused interview of Lin and James. James was fanboying over that hahah
Do
Patrick Wilson and James Wan on Insidious The Red Door
Can't believe I didn't realize Bob and Lin Shaye were siblings until now.
She's so calming and funny. Nothing like the movies I've seen here in.
Such a queen!!
Lin Shaye!! What a treat! I've got that one image from kingpin burnt into my mind.
