The alarm went off at 6.40am and three of us sat with our phones ready and the atomic clock app open 😂 Honestly the things you do to get on a ride!!!
Fastest finger first and I secured us boarding group 33 in 265 mins time 🥳 Excited, we were up ready and out to Epcot and in the park just after 9.00am. We used the shuttle from WorldQuest to the TTC and jumped on the Monorail to EPCOT. First we did a quick photo pass and then Spaceship Earth. This is a nice, family ride and quite educational for the kids. It was walk straight on. When we came off our boarding group had been called for Guardians – keep checking your app – the minutes count down. We had to do rider swap for this because Esme wasn’t tall enough and this meant Noah got to ride it twice! Amazing ride – I won’t spoil it for you but you have got to do it! During rider swap we took Esme to meet some characters. She met Goofy, Pluto, Daisy and Anna & Elsa. She was mesmerised 😃 her little face says it all.
Then we all made our way round to France and queued 50 mins for Ratatouille – standby queue time was accurate for this. Good ride and the same as the one in Paris. Maybe a bit more theming in the queue though.
We left the park through international gateway and walked through the Beach Club. Beautiful hotel. We refilled our mugs and got a Lyft back to WorldQuest was $15 👍
We had lunch, chilled by the pool for a few hours and the freshened up and went to the Vineland Premium Outlets 😃 I love it here – it’s like Disney for adults if you like shopping 😂 First stop Tommy Hilfiger. The kids got new trainers and Paul got some T shirts and boxers. I didn’t see anything for me 😭 Next Kate Spade and oh the handbags 😍 well I just couldn’t decide. Then we went in the Disney Character Warehouse and the boys got mini baby yodas that sit on your shoulder. Esme had a melt down because she didn’t see anything she wanted 🤦♀️ Next Michael Kors 🤩 the choices were unreal and I just couldn’t decide there either 😂 I finally made my decision but we had ran out of time and the shops closed at 7 so that means we will have to go back🥳 Give yourself plenty of time for the shops!!!
We took a Lyft to the Cheesecake Factory. It was so busy and people were queuing out the door. The wait was an hour and 20 mins but we waited. We had never been and wanted to try it. So definitely try to go earlier to avoid this wait.
The food was lovely, from the bread at the start, the chicken for main and the cheesecake for dessert😍 The service was good and we thought the bill was reasonable $90 with a tip.
Home and all of us straight in to bed. We are having a rest day at the pool during the day tomorrow and then we are going to Miller’s Ale House for ribs 😍 before going on to Magic Kingdom for the evening for the fireworks 💥🏰
