Have you ever made an oath to God that you found difficulty sticking to?

Hinnah, the mother of Mary (as), made a promise to Allah that if He granted her a child, she would dedicate him to His service. When she discovered she gave birth to a girl in a time when it wasn’t common for women to worship in the Temple, she was worried. Yet she never wavered in her commitment to her oath. From naming her daughter to raising her, Hinnah demonstrated tawakkul in Allah through action—so much so that she and her progeny were immortalized in the Qur’an and upheld by God Himself.

  1. Can you have a session where you can share more information about what happened to Hazrat Maryam after Prophet Issa (pbuh) was gone? where is she buried? there are different claims and beliefs about her shrine too.

  3. Mashallah this was presented so eloquently. I love the background as well, feels so refreshing. I have a question tho I make duas as well but at times I hold myself back because i believe that A. I'm asking more than I should meaning the quality of my Ibadah and I, myself in general dont deserve what I'm asking, simply bcz I'm not good enough, I'm not pious nor very close to Allah as I'm someone who has her own several shortcomings. Despite knowing that Allah is all giving, he is Al Razzaq and he is al Kareem I still have these contradictory thoughts that Allah wont answer my duas or give me what I want because I'm not doing much and that just discourages from making many duas and asking for several things. So should I ask Allah for really impossible (I mean they're impossible for me but not for Allah I acknowledge that) knowing fully well that I'm unworthy of it? Jazakallah for this series as it is really going over topics that I wish were taught in a manner that we would all benefit from rather learning for the sake of passing exams. Alhamduliah tho the internet has made acquiring beneficial knowledge so much easier.
