“Entire Criminal Justice System Is In Utter Shambles” | Furious Ex-Met Police Detective

Ministers will remain on “high alert” over the violent disorder that swept through parts of Britain despite tensions appearing to subside over the weekend, Downing Street has said.

Police had been braced for further riots but no widespread unrest arose after a large turnout of anti-racism protesters and warnings that those involved could face 10-year prison sentences.

Former Met Police detective Peter Bleksley joins Talk’s Mike Graham to discuss this further.

  1. IT IS NO LONGER ABOUT SAFETY……….It is about cost……..but the government are happy to send billions abroad……..pay half a billion to the French to escort law breakers…….ILLEGAL…..means against our laws…..the government encourage law breaking by no deterrent when caught……except when the public protest and then the law becomes politicalized and sentences become excessive in length for what was not as serious as other crimes where the person walks with a slap on the wrist…….
government and law is not fit for purpose when it becomes politically influenced to make those in charge look competent when really it shows they just do not have the experience to apply consistency and are corrupt by intent………….

  2. It seems from what I can tell, after all these years of seemingly being looked down upon, it turns out that the Devon & Cornwall Police Force may actually be the best police force in the country when compared to the upcountry police forces

  3. It gets even worse, the numbers you mentioned don't even include the criminals which never even get arrested in the first place. There are shops in central London which don't even call the police, even though their staff and security guards catch them red-handed. Those shops are way too worried about their prestige, literally encourage criminal behaviour by not pressing charges. I have witnessed thieves in Oxford street being caught by staff members and was shocked when they weren't even bothered to call the police.

  4. Report every crime to the police, regardless of how minor. Dont expect the police to do anything but the crime numbers will go through the roof and force the government to put more police on the street

What's more important to Keir starmer is it preserving the innocence and the life of our innocent children and women and protecting them so they feel safe to go about their daily business or is it more important to Keir star mode that he gets his voters count sadly I feel it still it's more important to Keir starmer auntie silence anyone who points out his complete incompetence

  6. So, let me get this straight. When the police attended my burglary in progress… i chased them away, the police couldn't be bothered, or didn't know how to collect the forensic evidence… i handed the items to them, they grunted, i should've got thirty quid! Lol … Everything is literally on its head. I have no faith in the police anywhere.

  7. Apropos of long jail time giving positive outcomes: a certain campaigner has suggested that during his incarceration in solitary confinement he was deeply worried about the "formulation" of his meals due to a fear of the kitchen staff's antipathy towards him. I take this to understand that there might be a power struggle within HMP's estate over who rules the roost and that perhaps a certain group are "top dog" and will do as they wish! Could this be true? Do HMP not rule the roost in their guise of Capita and other outsourced operators?

  8. Theresa May for one should be hauled in front of A Select Committee to account for her actions as Home Secretary with regard to The Police .
As a former Police Officer / Detective myself I’ll never forget the speech she made to The Police Federation as Home Secretary. It / she was appalling.
I could go on and on about her record and actions as Home Secretary in relation to The Police. She was a disgrace over a long period of time as well.
Trust Me Police Officers particularly Constables and Sergeants deal with much higher levels of danger on a daily basis etc than running their hands through wheat fields !!!!!!
Cameron and Osbourne should similarly be bought to book as well as her bosses at the time.
Albeit I’d be reluctant to see a single penny of public money spent on such a pointless exercise . Lessons never the less need to be learned from their actions.
