A discussion of the Hissho faction followed by my playthru beating the game with all difficulty set to Endless at Normal gamespeed with all DLC except Penumbra and no active mods. This is with the Re-Awakening update 1.5.60.

I totally forgot to use luxury boosts on my population for half the game and I never utilized the advanced fleet options during battles to move ships to different lanes, and I still won without much effort. I love the concept of playing a tall empire that mines the galaxy, but in practice they are just too OP. Ran into a couple of bugs but overcame them to ensure an Elimination Victory.
