  1. I went to see this movie twice in a row in the cinema. It's so good. Emma is brilliant and her chemistry with him was outstanding.
A great movie, with great performances, touching very real, deep topics from a fresh, sexy perspective. It's been years since I've enjoyed a movie so much 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼💫💯💯💯💯💯💯💜💜💜

  2. I am late to the party here, I watched the movie when it came out and If I did an interview with Emma regarding Leo Grande, I would have dedicated the entire show to her alone. The flick is unique and Emma made the character true.

  3. She is sooo elegant and talented. Emma tries so hard to be funny here but doesnt need to because shes hilarious.
She is so exuberant, her voice is velvet and she says "boedy" so elegantly!

  4. What a fantastic movie this is, reminiscent of a stage play, with an immediacy of emotion, both raw and understated, and the honesty? Mind blowing. Emma and Daryl both hit every note just right. Bravo.

  5. Have watched this twice because it's so beautiful, poignant and true. The casting of the two of them was perfection. Had not really seen Daryl McCormack before, so that was a great introduction to him. Hard to imagine being in a film, where there are only 2 people (practically throughout) and one of them is Emma Thompson! But Mr. McCormack matched the challenge beautifully

  6. She's a treasure: her talent, her wit, her earthy attitude. "The Remains of the Day" — the final shot of her on the bus as it pulls away in the night, she is staring so sadly towards Anthony Hopkins as he bids her their last goodbye. Silent, perfect.

  9. Can’t believe she wasn’t nominated for an Oscar for this. The stupid random girl who was voted in because of a few elite actresses campaigning on Instagram should be investigated.
