Emerald Legends – A Journey into the Triangle (THE DOCUMENTARY)

Emerald Legends – A Journey into the Triangle (THE DOCUMENTARY)

Welcome back to another Home Grow TV Documentary… this time we’re headed to Northern California.

Six passionate home growers journey into the heart of the Emerald Triangle, the legendary cannabis hub of Humboldt and Mendocino counties.

We also venture outside the triangle to the Emerald Dot and explore Grass Valley, California.

Along the way, we visit 7 iconic farms, including Ridgeline Farms, Huckleberry Hill Farms, and Wild Leaf Farms, meeting the farmers who live and breathe this region’s rich history.

From sun-grown outdoor cannabis to strains like Blackberry Caviar, Blueberry Caviar, and Granny Candy, this Emerald Triangle documentary uncovers the magic of the best outdoor cannabis in the world.

Explore the roots of Emerald Triangle history, the contrast between outdoor vs indoor grown, and how legendary growers like Jason Ridgeline and the Mendo Dope Boys keep this tradition alive. Don’t miss this deep dive into California’s cannabis culture and the strains that define it.

About The Emerald Triangle:
Encompassing Humboldt, Mendocino, and Trinity counties—is the birthplace of California’s cannabis culture. Its history dates back to the 1960s Summer of Love when countercultural pioneers migrated from cities like San Francisco to this remote, fertile region. Seeking a simpler life, they discovered the perfect conditions for growing cannabis: rich soil, dense forests for cover, and a Mediterranean climate. Over decades, the Emerald Triangle became renowned for producing some of the world’s finest sun-grown cannabis, blending tradition, innovation, and a deep connection to the plant. Today, it remains a cornerstone of cannabis history and culture.

  2. Of course the non local has no cue Humboldt Seed Co is a joke in Humboldt County. Real growers don't run their gear and real fire genetics don't need thousands of plants to find Unicorns. Not to mention you guys got nose blind after like 1-200 plants anyways.

  5. Fan of these folks, but the Highigan people I can’t vibe with. I’ve watched their videos but when they talk I get vibes of people using buzz words hoping something catches, don’t feel like they know what they’re talking about. But they have a following so I get including them. Should subbed them out for Mr Canucks Grow!!! Need a collab with him for sure
