  1. Although he was glad to be coming home, you could see the sadness in the beginning of the video with the loss of his mother. It much have been awful for him to enter his home for the first time and his Mother wasn’t there to hug & kiss him. He loved his mother so much.
Elvis was such a good loving person. He was human.

  6. Great interview. He had so much on his mind. He had worried for two years about his career & then his mom passed & he was so sad. His buddies in the Army said they’d hear him crying in the bunk at night. He looks great here and he need not have worried about being remembered, that’s for sure. Even after his death, 46 yrs later, he’d still be remembered by the greatest fans in the world. Thanks Rich for this. Hope you do more of these. β€β€πŸ˜ŠπŸ˜ŠπŸŽΈπŸŽΈπŸ•ΊπŸ»πŸ•ΊπŸ»πŸŽ€πŸ™‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈπŸ™‹πŸΌβ€β™€οΈ

  7. Elvis being drafted into the army combined with other events in rock and roll around this time(buddy holly plane crash…jerry lee Lewis marrying his cousin) ushered in a big change in the music industry…..rock seemed to lose its edge while being replaced with more tamed artists such as Fabian….Bobby Rydell etc…. I always felt strongly that Muhammad Ali exemplified exactly how to deal with the military industrial complex!
