  1. Honestly, Turin has changed my mind completely on domination battles. I'd much rather watch these than land battles now. I even enjoy minor settlement battles in campain. Battling over multiple objectives makes TW:WH a true RTS instead of just a blob battle generator. High quality content as always, thanks for the years of vids.

  2. Shadow walkers and Eltharion were absolutely bosses in this game. Maybe not as much value as someone would have liked, but they made a massive difference on the points. Also, the lions were awesome!

  3. Rushing doesnt seem good in domination. Your opponent can just run and pick their fights, peel out to the points and force you to go deal with that. But tzeench was sorta forced to do that since they had so few missile units. Seems better to reinforce with the forsake and spawn instead of starting with it since early domination favors skirmishing.

  4. HE could have some pretty good teeth for sure, as they've got really decent options/responses for a lot of enemy tactics (cheap cav, stalwart infantry, workable artillery, and mobile monsters. Not sure they'd do much better than DE, but if Turin's shadow warrior theory works out they'd have a really good way to force an opponent to commit a lot of value to objectives they would otherwise be able to leave lightly defended (bonus points for the fact that their stealth means that the opponent has to react on the spot.

  5. Superb faction choice my dear 🙂 8/10 points from me. One more point had you taken the brand new frostbiting frostheart phoenix haha … and well the other missing point – you know what it is. Being a bit too DOMinant for me 😛

  6. Eltharion doesn't get insane value but also hes your primary caster, so he kind of does? If your life caster got like 1300 value or whatever it'd be mental.

  7. Shadow walkers arent that great against low tier infantry because they seem to overkill the same few models most of the time if you look at what they shot. They have the same problem as some arty does or waywatchers , that sometimes they just decide to shoot the same edge of the formation and overkill it by a LOT. wasting their ammo in the process.

  8. Hey. I’ve been thinking about buying this game but I’m confused about one thing. Turin said ‘I’m excited for you guys get to your hands on this when it comes out’ and I see the ‘development in progress’ in top left. Is this game out or is Turin playing an early release of something? Can someone explain? Thanks

  9. I feel like you take too many archers, especially in the opening of a match. I've never seen someone hold a position and keep them out of melee. One or two I would understand, but i'd almost want a stronger dedicated missile unit and buckets of protection instead, like a sister of averlorn surrounded by things that can hold a line and kill infantry. Archers seem better as a reserve unit to bring in once battle lines develop, from relative safety.

  10. I have mixed feelings about the cheap mass meta. In this case, had Dahv brought out his Hero-level caster, Eltharion would have just swooped in and killed him. And you can have a mass of cheapness in the initial wave, but if your opponent clears that wave and has units on the point, then you get into the vicious cycle of summoning units that get killed as they come in. And in this case Chaos Spawn and Forsaken are of course quality units, but still. Silverin Guard were awesome, because even with Sundered armour, they still have very high melee defence and silver shields, so they remain durable. High Elf cavalry on Domination is just so, so good too. I'm happy to see the long-suffering Asuryani finally have a place in the meta.

  11. I think there's also a hidden factor for the shadow walkers, maybe they didn't grab as much kills and value as the archers but I think that if you sent a unit of archers instead to do the job you gave to the SW the opponent probably would have shut down that point way earlier, so the "intimidation" factor should be counted as value too hehe

  12. I wish domination maps like this were in campaign. Would break up monotony of repetitive settlement fights (nothing's changed as the attacker from WHII IMO) and regular land battles.
