This a kind of prequel to my Tenebrae storyline. Michael Moorcock coined the term The “Moonbeam Roads” to describe the paths of Angels moving between worlds in a multiverse. I thought, if you can have a path or road, why not a train! And if a train was permissible then a station would be a necessity. So this is where my characters arrive. It might also be a term attached to a Lunatic Asylum. The artwork I have provided for the cover depict two of my principle characters, Elric/D.I. Zachariah Winters and Susan Pevensie/Canterbury Black. The following is a small taste of the storyline where Zachariah Winters arrives at St Michaels Station in no small part confused by his new identity. Forgive my poor writing style I do not profess to be a writer. As an aside. The artist in the image is not myself. He is an artist called Richard Dadd. You can read something of his story on Wikipedia.
As he stepped off the train onto the marble topped platform of St Michael’s Station, amidst a cloud of rapidly dispersing steam and smoke, Detective Inspector Zachariah Winters experienced a sudden onrush of memories and the alarming feeling that they could not be his own. Or perhaps they were? Clearly, in his minds eye, he saw magnificent gothic cities, marble spires reaching to impossible heights and circling around their pinnacles dragons of immense size. The scene shifted to a place he once knew the name of where armies, so vast in scale they extended beyond every horizon, were gathering for war and in their midst, he stood, ready to die. Otherworldly beings watched over it, gods, demanding bloody sacrifice and the souls of men. But there was one memory that almost brought him to his knees. A black sword, shimmering with an aura of evil, hung in the air before him. He trembled at the sight of it then quickly recovered. It was just a dream.
There was a large crowd on the concourse, watching him as he passed. His acute sense of hearing picked up some of their whispered conversation.
“Who is he?” a young woman asked of her friend.
“The white wolf”, came the sharp reply.
“The what”?
“You ‘heard me” said the older woman
“But what does he do? Every one is looking at him”
“Do”?
“He, he looks dangerous.”
“So he is,” replied the other. “To them as deserves it. He’s here to put things right. That’s what he does.”
Zachariah looked intently at them and in a tongue not his own he mouthed the words, “Thou hast spoken truly”

Impressive as always! I really love your work, Jim 👏👏👏👏
Absolutely fantastic.
Your musical style is very distinctive. I loved the mix of immersive elements throughout the piece, like what seems to be a clock or an engine and a train whistle at minute 2:09. The part starting at minute 6:30 is very characteristic of your work, I can't help but enjoy it!
Happy Halloween Jim!
I loved the storytelling, Jim! I would really appreciate to learn more about the stories behind your albums. This would make an amazing read, which can go for entire novel series.
The king did it again. Simply a godsend. Will fuel much of my new Advanced Dungeons and Dragons campaign. Thanks Jim.
Falar sobre o trabalho do Jim é o mesmo que chover no molhado. Um espetáculo como sempre!!! Meus Parabéns mais uma vez!!!🥳🥳🥳
