I'm really glad that Elon is trying to do this himself, and not be reliant on governments, state funding and the famous NASA to do this. We weren't going anywhere soon if they were in charge, so here comes this asocial eccentric guy who's doing all of that, in a single lifetime with a preparation to look forward to when he dies in a few decades.
I'm not a Elon Musk fan, but I respect him to the core. He's doing the things that had to be done, while "first world stuggles" are mainly social and cultural issues.
