Rivers of blood katana is bugged right now until it is patched. The weapon dmg does not scale with stats. (This was the red katana in the still image of the intro)

There ia a cave called the Abandoned Cave in the red area that gives you the Gold Scarab tailisman. And it increases runes upon defeating enemies. Similar to the covetous silver serpent ring in dark souls
Be careful going for the twinblade, there are two underground chests in those ruins and one is definitely not the weapon you’re looking for 😉

For the dragon halberd boss
You can stand in the waterfall and shot arrows at the boss since the dragon kin boss is too big and can’t reach you with any of his attacks
