*Background / Motivation*
_An older, classical knight. A Golden Order Fundamentalist who worships the Erdtree.
One of the earliest followers of Miguella. Believing that Miquella would be the future of The Lands Between.
Branded an Heretical Prophet, banished from The Lands Between after a vision where he saw fire and Miquella walking away from the Gorden Order. A vision he never believed could be real.
He continued bringing kindness to those who needed it outside of The Lands Between, just as Miquella would have done. Always hoping that he would one day find his Grace and set his eyes on the Erdtree again.
Now, he finds himself back in The Lands Between in search of answers. No longer recognizing the land where he was born and raised. What has happened to his beloved homeland? What happened to Miquella? Did he really betray the Golden Order as seen in his vision?_

He is very experienced in battle and warfare. He has seen it all. In his time away from The Lands Between he learned to craft and use a great variety of tools, whatever necessary to survive.
Being originally a Golden Order Fundamentalist, Sir Mik is well trained in Incantations and Sorceries.
He acknowledges that, to win a battle, one must to be able and willing to use everything at their disposal.
(With his high Faith and Intelligence, Sir Mik is basically able to use whatever is necessary to win a fight)

I love that we're getting some dragon lore! Especially re: Blake the Drake. It's a much better name than "North highway South" for a grace outside the fortress.

I’ve been playing for quite a while now, and I never knew that you could go down that narrow defile and access much more of the map. So when I saw you placing a beacon at that location, I realised – “Hey, I’ve never actually gone down that way myself!” So I paused the video and jumped back into the game, and got all the way to the Cerulean Coast. So thanks for that BLJ, I was getting a bit frustrated about not being able to get beyond the Gravesite Plains!

Sadly the knight at the Church of Consolation dropped the shield instead of the hammer for me so I guess I'm just out of luck lol
So the scuffle with this Bayle,who's likely not going to be dead as Blue hopes,might be the reason why Placidusax is missing a few heads.
Also to get at the bottom of the canal the access point looks to be NE of the lake(you can see the path on the map at 8:00).

The lore surrounding Bayle is more of the stuff that expands and reconceptualises what we knew from Elden Ring, and there's even more stuff! Today I discovered some new lore that is incredible, so I advise you to explore as much as you possibly can, as I now realize you can explore a huge chunk of the DLC without fighting any bosses!
And yes, in terms of verticality, the DLC is superb!
Just to show how the game is so well-done, that path you explored that led to you the fort, I came around it from the opposite direction, because I missed or forgot that path was there.

Since the dlc update I’ve had one or two shiny items just vanish when I got to them- I’m hoping they fix some of the bugs the dlc created soon!
