Elden Ring PS5 Saves Being Lost | GameSpot News

In today’s episode of GameSpot News, Persia talks about Elden Ring losing PS5 saves, Steam Deck 2 already being discussed, and more.

In a message posted February 25, Bandai Namco said there were several “main items to be revised” in Elden Ring, primarily in the PC version, including an issue with the mouse sensitivity being too high, frame rate issues, and more.

On PS5, save data can be lost if the PS5 shuts off before closing the game–either when it was fully powered or in rest mode–so if you were using rest mode as an artificial pause button, you may want to reconsider.

If you were among the first batch of people to reserve a Steam Deck last year, make sure you’re checking your inbox. Emails began going out at around 10 AM PT / 1 PM ET. Once it arrives, you’ll be able to make your final payment, confirm your shipping details, and (barring any delays) likely get your hands on Steam Deck next week. Despite the Steam Deck not quite out yet, there are reportedly already discussions of a Steam Deck 2.

For all of the Deep Rock Galactic fans out there, the game is celebrating it’s 4 year anniversary with a big in-game event and livestream.

  1. LOL at the morons complaining about how the games overall score should be lower because of a trivial performance issue like this that will most likely be patched out by the end of the week, fixable performance issues shouldn't affect a games overall score, the content and actual game are what's being scored, not some bug who you guys who probably don't even own a PS5 shouldn't be concerned about

  2. Yikes, thanks for the heads up. I just in fact picked up the PS5 version of Elden Ring so I'll definitely be very careful when saving my game.

Steam Deck is just about to launch and they're already talking SD2??? Why??? Shouldn't Valve just focus on supporting SD and wait a couple of years to move forward with A SD2??? That makes no sense to start making plans for SD2 when the first one is only just about to launch.

  3. Glad i didnt get ps5 i do use a controller adapter to use the superior ps5 controller on my xbox series x though mainly so i can play claw with both hands. Would never want paddles or an expensive elite controller i like to keep it simple and use less fingers by playing claw and have better grip on the controller with those fingers that would be touching paddles.

  4. Elden Ring on PC is horrible right now, I defeated two bosses without being able to see them imagine that…Tons of NPC's are invisible even the mount is inivisible but when you get a closer camera look they show up again, it's the worst port they could've given us.

  5. I played Elden ring for 12 hrs, then my system crashed. Deleted my save file. This was on ps4 however. Now I can't even get through the char creation before it crashed my ps4. Anyone else with this issue?
