Counterculture view right here: dr. Zaius is misunderstood and Brutus is a tyrant. We need to take the context of the story everyone in the story was probably strangers who through luck or skill survived the apocalypse. Dr. Zaius was a scientist who specialized in medicine hence access to the bananacea and the stress of his job or watching as he was to late and civilization collapsed around him turned to smokeleaf(running out right before the start of the series). Having run out and having to come face to face with what’s left of the world and the effects of withdrawal he was not in the state of mind to save Molly brutus’s wife. Brutus devastated by her death became a tyrant he took over and instead of prioritizing survival he made everyone build him a palace and a private garden. In this episode Dr. Zaius was separated from everyone surrounded and infected by the very disease he found a cure for, but Brutus of all people is the only person skilled enough to manufacture the cure without more advanced facilities. Brutus pretends to be devastated by the attack and refuses to make the cure for (who he believes to be) his wife’s murderer. Then Brutus realizes that Dr. Zaius guilty over not being there to save his wife is the only one who supports him being the leader and letting the beloved doctor die would tip the scales and cause a coup ousting him from power. Or maybe I am a little bananas for taking a series about return to monke seriously.
Has anyone been keeping track of how many times he's said "ape together strong" in this series? Feel like that's a drinking game you'd get alcohol poisoning from.

I always felt that Rimworld raids should be based more about the type of faction that does the raiding (aka. tribal nutjobs won't give a fuck about your uranium storage and whatnot), what you have of resources they would like, as well as the amount of people you have on-location. Cuz they wouldn't go and raid by the dozen if you have a singular guy with a hut and 50k gold, cuz, a waste of people.
So maybe tribals that are 'hungry' as a quality (so to speak) would prefer to raid you when there's a lot of food at your area, or if they are cannibals, the more people you have, the more of a target you are.
KInda like the balanced raid mod that bases value on guns and armor and amount of colonists.
