  1. Maybe the fact that developers are making games for amd architecture in the consoles is leading to better performance on amd gpu on pc?

I am sure the stutters are a game engine anomaly amd will be addressed either by from software or amd/nvida.

I am currently playing wartales ea. Even this non graphically intensive game has a huge stutter issue. Definitely game engine issues. I have a 5600x, 32gb, 3600mh ram, m.2 drive, and a 6800xt so yeah.

  2. As a small game developer I can confirm that alot of these graphical games are going to be locked to 60fps in the future because devs know the consoles can hit 60fps so instead of trying to get more frames they are focusing on graphical fidelity. In a game like this why would you need do you need to play above 60fps? It's just a waste of frames. The game was designed on for 60fps.

  3. I’ve seen people running 3080s that claim they have issues. Even though the performance delta between the 3080 and the ti version is minimal, for some reason I’m having a really good experience at 4k on my 3080ti. There are some stutters, but nothing too bad, you seem to have bigger and longer stuttering than me. I’m running a 10700k @ 5.0ghz, 32gb 3600mhz DDR4 ram, nvme m.2 SSD @ 3500mb/s, and a 3080 ti. I’ve sunk nearly 8 hours into the game so far, I’m just perplexed as to why your frame time spikes are much worse than mine on multiple GPUs.

    🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I've learn that all that games need to do do give you a map with not markers and let you explore.. Have some relevant side quest..
    Make the fighting hard.
    Boom best game ever

  5. No to spoil anything, but if you get just a little bit further into the game, a couple minutes up the road actually, you'll be able to get your horse. This will allow you to rapidly move across the environment and would be a better way to test performance given the fact the stuttering seems to be related to world traversal (some kind of streaming issue).

  6. I have the same cooler and it is barely able to go below 100c on benchmarks like cinebench r23, tbh if you wanna get if for an Intel CPU, use it for up to a 12600k. After that buy smth else.

  7. You mentioned God of War. Is God of War as bad as this on the 6800xt? Have been holding off on getting it until they fix the AMD GPU problems. Deciding between playing God of War or Elden Ring first – whichever performs better
