  1. Can you please make a holy assassin build (think Penitent Damned if you're familiar w The Shadow Campaigns)?
I think a really sick faith/dex build using bloodhound step, blood loss and incantations could work wonderfully. I'd personally want to use lightning spells too but that's just me.
I'll do it myself, but there's sooo much I don't know about this game and you'd do a much better job putting a build together!

  2. CohhCarnage (Twitch Streamer) Recently showed a video on how equipping a staff in the Off-hand with a "Boost Sorcery" Effect also effects the casting of that type of sorcery in the main hand. So if you are confident with dodging instead of blocking then i reccomend doing that. Instead of using it in the main hand.

  3. I also use an upgraded carian shield with frost enchant just so I can block while moving and melee without swapping.
I wished from made staff melee attacks more viable and kept the ds3 spell amp weapon art to put caster mages viable for meta.

  4. The determination situation is probably an oversight and it might get patched. It simply doesn't make sense to get that huge % spell damage increase for 10 freaking seconds for the cost of what… 20 FP or something? A worthy mention is the bloodhound step ash of war, which provides you with excellent survivability for those fast boss fights, like blade knife assassins for example

  5. Love the video. I'm still new to dark souls so this is my first. My friend who play the previous games told me (when I choose mage) to buff strength and arcance from the start. Big mistake now from realizing it and trying to figure out what to do

  6. I'm kinda surprised you didn't make a build focused on shields/greatshields, with the guard counter mechanics. I've been running your barbarian builds, but transitioned into Black Iron Tarkus, with a greatshield and greatsword, with most bosses you can just stand your ground and trade hits, or see them bounce off your shield

  7. The fact that i have the same gear and the same attributes expept for dex at 12 and int at 36, as a new player, before watching this video, tells me i'm doing things the right way. Means I'm getting at least decent :')

  8. Astrologer's first spell Glintstone Pebble is the ultimate spell of elden ring in PvE. Its damage to fp cost efficiency is the best. Aside from Rocksling, the other spells are too slow and too niche and too mana intensive. Come to think of it, i only use pebble and rocksling for almost of all my fights.

  9. I think basing sorcerer character around using sword of night and flame you negate the fp issue and get the best of both worlds. Smaller weaker enemies you can just use the sword and then using its spell abilities for low fp cost when you attack

  10. As a Spellblade Caster player at the moment, there is another Talisman you can wear, in order to boost your tankiness is using a Talisman called "Dragoncrest Shield Talisman" and this Talisman helps with Physical Damage Negation which means you take less damage against physical damages. When usually you get knocked around with a Greatsword or enemies with a large weapon, they usually one shot you in Mid-Game. So this Talisman helps you to survive those hits so you can plan your next attack.

  11. Glintstone Shard is the exact same damage to fp ratio as Glintstone pebbles, fires twice as fast and takes 1/3 of the stamina per shot. At the cost of about 1 roll worth of range, also the projectile travels at almost double the speed. in 99% of the situation is just a straight up upgrade over glintstone pebbles. Highly recommend using it instead.
