  1. Sword of Night and Flame is absolutely ridiculous! It's such a cool weapon, but I stopped using it because of the WA R2 (flames). In a game where everything is an ICBM, that thing is the MOAB. I really hope they nerf it so I can use it on the int/pyro that I quickly planned when I found the sword.
Dark Moon is awesome, I just wish the presentation of it, to the player, was more "theatrical" but the design makes up for it (seriously, From went HARD with detail in this game, it's almost unnecessary).

120 hours into the first playthrough, I thought I'd reached the end twice already, was wrong both times. The map just keeps getting bigger. There are so many different weapons, weapon arts, spells, armor sets.
    OH ELDEN RING! [T]/

  2. It's so satisfying to see Redeemed Jeff, a man with probably the most humble of possible beginnings, come into his own.

He came into this world, a raving lunatic in a funny hat, desperately drowning in swamp gunk as he searched for this myth of moonlight. He tried to go to collage but they said "Jeff you're from a low income swamp village family, your brain is leaking, you can't afford to come here and the only scholarship we offer is the 'disgusting head squid' scholarship and you don't qualify for that". He fought, and he struggled, and he broke into the home of every wizard he could to steal their homework and their magical sticks.

But then. Then one fateful day he breaks into the home of his goth moon alien GF. He breaks in and she's like "Hello strange man with a funny hat, do you want to get karmic vengeance on the swamp, every wizard on earth for how they treat people who arent born into extremely wealthy wizard families that hold 90% of the wealth of the land and through that wealth, have enabled themselves to ensure the means of wealth and knowledge are kept from you, so that you'll toil and dredge through a terrible, awful swamp, farming mushrooms until you die cold and alone, like your father and your father's father?"

And so, with the help of his crypto queen moonlight sugar mommy, Jeff does exactly that. He eats the rich, and in the end, becomes the "Moonlight greatsword guy with funny hat" he was always destined to be… proving to us, once and for all, that you don't need to be born wealthy to succeed in life!

Just be like Jeff. Just ruthlessly, savagely, methodically and systematically kill everyone more fortunate than you until your alien moon god gf gives you a magic sword, so you can stop invading the homes of wallstreet wizards, and start invading the homes of people who didnt buy Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice by FromSoft.

  3. Seeing all the "pvpers" complaining about "blood loss is to good", "deathblight OP even though you can run away and use rejuvenating boluses to get rid of deathblight", "MoOnVaeL", "Sword of Noit and flem". It's just hot takes galore. Everything is broken therefore it's perfectly balanced. I'm personally loving pvp in elden ring there's so much builds I want to try since everything has some broken thing about it.

  4. I know the struggle saint… Before the game even launched, I made it my goal to recreate Magic Man, complete with a magic Zweihander and Moonlight Greatsword… I'm not proud of the things I had to do to get it, But I MADE A VOW! Some may call me a sword digger, but I did what I had to to make good on a promise.

  5. It is a truly amazing game and continuously surprises me with new and cooler items, weapons and mechanics never before used in DS games but man it truly is missing that sweet 3 vs 3 PvP and covenants with an Aldrich type of area with a constant flow of invaders. Right now it feels too much like Bloodborne PvP. Amazing at first but you get tired of it quickly. Always a 1 v 3 and the gank is either clueless and you feel like a bully or they all spamming OP shit and kill you off real quick. Not a lot of in between or balance. It’s destined to die out relatively quickly same as Bloodborne despite being a masterpiece as well.

  6. I feel like if it was the moonlight greatsword the one being very good and the moon veil being the weak one, no one would have complained. Becouse, seriously, fuck katanas.

  7. Absolutely love it! Saint back in form with Redeemed Geoff!

And yes, having done some invasions the other day . . . whew is it wild in The Lands Between. No one knows the meta level, no one knows the rules. It's all over the place!
