The game is so amazing
one of the best, if not the best videogame reviewer on here! always love your videos. keep up the good work!
My preorder is still a few days away from arriving. But yea very excited.
Dragons Dogma is still better
im loving it, maybe 15 hours into it and i feel like i've barley scratched the surface compared to dark souls 1-3. Honestly the open world was my biggest fear but so far they pull it off very well, it doesnt feel like a 'modern open world game' imo.
BUT I hope fromsoft does NOT abandon traditional more linear – high detail souls style games in the future though. Very different map vibes from dark souls more cramped and immersive worlds imo
Can’t wait for a competent first person mod
I love how everyone who plays these games give the lack luster stories a pass. Always..
This truly looks like it could be the best From Software has put out. It’s beautiful, combat is smoother than before, and they continue to put out worlds with amazing lore.
The game looks soo bad on my PS5 out of all next gen standards and expectations, Demons Souls for PS5 is far better looking, can't stand Elden Ring's look especially buildings and it's repetitive textures and proportions as person from art school trained for viewing cant look at it 5-6 minutes, start it and must turn off that ugliest popular game I'm feeling CHEATED by uneducated YouTubers and reviewers which do not respect 2022 standards and our free time
Just imagine the games our kids will be playing in 20 years! I hope I’m still alive and into gaming by then.
The bats killed you?!?!?! Jk lol gravity gets me every time lol
i liked Ashen they made a great game with Ashen
This game is desperate for VRR support on the PS5.
So much so, I’m considering buying it again for the Series X.
It’s also desperate for a manual camera.
But I agree, the world is awesome to explore
I really don’t get the hype. 🤷🏼♂️
First time seeing your channel, last time even considering your opinion. It took me 10 minutes to realize Eldin Ring was overrated trash.
Truly feels like From Soft's magnum opus 😘 can't wait for my copy to arrive tomorrow
I couldn’t ever play souls games. Way to difficult for me. I suck at parrying. I had to stop playing botw because my parrying is dreadful. I’m a noob 🙁
So great to hear your excitement for this. It's just fantastic
Did you get a steamdeck? Interested to see your perspective on it
Although there is pop up in the game and it doesn't upset me much, I am more upset that reviewers mark down other games for "pop-up" but don't talk about it here and give it a perfect score when the pop- up here is much more apparent than normal.
not my type game but to all those that like it have a great time looks amazing.!
Elden Ring is excellent.
I come from thousands of hours played on mostly Dark Souls 2 & 3, but I have beaten Dark Souls 1 a few times. I played through Bloodborne three times and Sekiro twice. I was playing Nioh in anticipation for ER release.
Now it is here, and I am loving it. I have limited time due to school, but I am squeezing an hour or two/day for exploration and dying, haha.
Me too I am so overwhelm how big the game is and the verticality and scared of missing things and I got fed up and trying to do things case by case.
New to Dark Souls style genre, I spent about 3 hours dying last night, not knowing where to go, meeting creepy NPCs and running away from forbidding enemies. Loved every second of it!
“You just look into the distance” reality: it looks so damn empty.
I love doing as much as I can until it comes to challenges. I’ll do as many as I can but if I gotta try a hundred times to do things a certain way in a certain amount of time then I will move on. Exploration, story, bosses and enemies are where I’ll spend my precious time 😆
You described perfectly what I was feeling in the beginning of this game. Hesitant to do anything because of how large, daunting, and brutal this world is. I’m about 10 hours in or so and it’s one of the most rewarding games I’ve ever played so far. The fact that I’ve only explored the first area of the map is insane and I can’t wait to dive deeper into this masterpiece.
I have never felt more anxious towards playing a game in my life. I've logged around 13 hours and I find myself just looking around for info about the world and just reading item descriptions for lore or watching other people play in the early game. I've never felt such a strong sense of freedom and exploration in any game ever it's almost intimidating.
I’m only a few hours in and the atmosphere is breathtaking
Never been into soulslike games but I am determined to dive deep into this one
Its like a dark BotW
It's definitely the best Souls game I've played, but I can't say I'm "in awe" like so many others. It's a really fun game, but, at the same time it kinda just feels like Dark Souls, again. But open world.
You look like Jeff Jarrett.
I hated every part of demon souls, how better is elden ring compare to demon souls?
I really have tried to like the souls games, but dying over, and over, and over, and over, and having to spend hours playing the same areas and kill the same enemies over and over and over, well for me that is super annoying, it’s not fun, it’s frustrating.
