I celebrated my birthday at Bahia Principe Fantasia, in Dominican Republic. I never imagined myself going to all inclusive on my own, as you are staying within the hotel. I used to go to Bahia Principe Fantasia in Tenerife, with family. Bahia Principe Tenerife, has been a let down the last couple visits. Sometimes it takes something, to make you do something you never imagined you’d do. After being let down a couple times, it made me want to visit Bahia Principe Fantasia in Dominican. It was the best decision, as I got the best view facing the castle.
I walked along Punta Cana Beach, to Jumbo Supermarket. I feel like you’ve never really experienced a new country till you see the supermarket. I got some Dominican food and makeup.
Everyone seems to speak in English in Dominican. I would say it’s very Americanised. I walked along the streets of Dominican and it made me laugh people would slow down shouting “beautiful” or “wow” or other stuff in English, but once you laughed they laughed and drove on.
I went for dinner to the Italian restaurant. I asked for cheese pasta and they brought the wrong thing. The staff sing happy birthday in Spanish and do the Dominican drums.
