I did something amazing against a carian exploiter, I've been using my own carian reposte shield to counter casters and this guy starts throwing down glintstone scraps to reposte them so I run straight at him, steal the orbs with my shield and the swords kill him, absolutely glorious.
You can also use a magic infused med shield or the mirror shield, you will not be one shotted. if you have the time to swap though.

Don't you just love that these shitheads can be almost immediately resummoned after finally killing them? 🙂 So fair and well designed. Especially when they literally addressed this and added a resummon timer in DS3, only to immediately scrap it in the next game again.

If you parry a friends spell the swords become so desynced that nobody but the person who has them can see them floating around or atleast thats how it was for me when I was testing how to counter it
This bug is mad funny in duels, these cheesey trash lord's acting like I don't have bloodhound step specifically to fuckover this shitty bug.
There are so many trash spell casters this game and so many weapon art spamming noobs too, never got why people wanted fromsoft to make casting stronger, it was there in other games so new players could get into the game and then start doing actual builds, now you grab a dragon breath spell get 2 summons and the game isn't even hard anymore. I really don't get it I've soloed everything and am in end game right now depths, halig, and farum azula.
I’m not sure if it’s an exploit, but earlier today I fought a summon that used a combo similar to that curse glitch to build up bleed by standing near me, and the status built up regardless of it I was rolling through it. I put up a video of it titled “Potential bleed glitch – is this an exploit? | Elden Ring PvP”
Against carian retaliation magic absorption buff plus talisman and you are save from one shot also endure helps a ton

I've encountered people like this back when the erdtree greatshield was broken. These people use these glitches but then play so defensively and cowardly even though if they would've kept the aggression up, they probably would've killed the invader.

Does anyone know if it's desynched only for when you parry your own spells/glintstones? I've been using Carian Retaliation to counter mages in invasions, but I genuinely have no clue if it's desynched for them when I parry their spells.
I can go up to 70% magic damage reduction with my physics flask, spelldrake+3 talisman and magic barrier incantation. I also have my Alby shield which absorbs 80% of the damage leaving me at 7% damage taken. So even if It is desynced I can walk up and face tank it. Only need extra stamina to not get guard broken
One thing I did not use extensively use yet is the shield grease. that might be worth a shot to get the dream 4% magic damage taken.

What weapon is great for rushing in and catching someone trying to backpedal away. Someone with no poise, I am a STR build (60 STR and 12 dex)

Hey everyone, just found something cool; if you want to invade faster, switch between the infinite use fingers. This makes invades a lot faster.
You need to try the hawk tallen longswords they have a special r2 and scale highly with dex they do a fast two hit cross slash then a 3rd power slam if yo cast again and the two slashes have extreme roll catch range to the point you can almost 100% roll catch confirem if you do blade dance then r2.
