OHHHH It is here! My explanation of ALL of the endings of Elden Ring. Spoilers, duh.
In this video, I explain the 6 different endings of Elden Ring (3 main endings, and 3 extra variants on the first). Lore, npc questlines, and item descriptions abound in this investigation of the conclusion of FromSoftware’s most recent masterpiece(???). I hope you enjoy the video, and it sparks an interest of ER’s lore. There is plenty more to talk about, so leave a comment with your idea or your disagreement with my interpretation. And tick around cause this might be a video about endings, but it’s only the beginning of my journey into Elden Ring.

Greetings
Thanks, the story is a little confusing if you follow it ingame
Great work buddy, Very well put together!
I like the age of stars ending because I will no longer be maidenless lmao
except ranni ending. i think all of them kinda disappoint.
you become a king of the wasteland… No friend or foe
while Ranni ending you serve the Waifu and …. you're not maidenless
It's a win
Very nice video mate!
Really great video, man!
I didn't notice the Berserk homage at all. great video!
I agree
Dung Eater is an odd ball under the helm he has an almost cave man like face with reddish hair like the fire monks. Could he be a some half dwarf born an omen? Look at all the Giants they were defiled by the Order all of them have their true faces torn off and are left as husks. Dung Eater seems to be returning the favor and ironically interprets Marika's desire to see her children suffer for eternity.
FromSoft: …to stand before the Elden Ring and become the Elden Lord!
Me: whose lord?
(Ranni silently extended her ring finger…
As weird as it is, Fia's death ending seems like the "good" ending. It restores the natural order of the universe, and removes the curse of immortality. If not that, it's the Age of the Stars ending. The only thing is we don't know what her Age of Stars looks like, is it a rejection of a "greater will" or is it just serving a bloodborne boss?
The frenzied flame ending looks so cool
Great video man
But which one is good ending?in your opinion
I don't think that's what the age of duskborn leads to, my understanding was that it officiates the existence of the undead into the natural order, since death was not removed by the greater will but marika herself, re-uniting the elden ring necessitates that death resume in all endings where the player ascends. Essentially choosing that ending just means you're also adding spooky ghosts, skeletons, and zombies into the natural state of existence, and since they are now natural, persecuting them becomes a heresy. I'm happy to be told otherwise though since the language around death, what the mending rune of death does, and what fia's ambitions are is very cryptic and open to interpretation.
Quoting German philosopher that got nothing to do with anything is tight
Yeah I am going with Ranni's ending
I'm so confused, what happened to merika, I she dead
Got the age of stars on my first playthrough. 🙂
Lord of the Frenzied Flame could be considered an ending with a definitive resolution as (stated in the video) you are ending the stagnant cycle and quite literally pressing the "reset" button on the universe since the greater will screwed up by allowing pain and suffering to exist. The Lord of the Frenzied Flame ending is similar to the End of The Age of Fire and Usurpation of Fire ending in Dark Souls 3, where you just allow the declining age to end and usher in a new age to learn from the mistakes of the last. Additionally being the new chaos god of the new universe you could make everybody your maiden meaning you have infinite maidens and will never be maidenless. May Chaos Take the World!
Ranni and Melina are one?
I believe Age Of Stars is the good ending
For the seventh endings dont do a storyline just help the girl that give u the horse and youll become elden lord and the tree will burn
Did you noticed the similirarities betwen the final boss and final area with the end of Attack on titant ?
The elden best is very alike the parasite that transformed Yimir into a titan. Plus, we can see Marika like Yimir : a woman without any will that transform the world as the lord tell her (elden lord in elden ring, king family in attack on titan). By what i know in Attack on titan, the parasit doesn't seems to have any will. Or it's only will is to live ? life always find a way. In elden ring, all tanished are bringing back by the grace. And so we can think that all the tanished ends are linked to the will of living, what ever the form.
Sorry for bad english.
I just finished my first playthrough and ended up with Stars ending. Now it's time to to wreck some shit up.
i want to ad an other thing. The description of Radagon's hammer (in fact Marika's hammer) tel : "Stone hammer made in the lands of the Numen, outside the Lands Between. The tool with which Queen Marika shattered the Elden Ring and Radagon attempted to repair it." If Marika decided to destroy the elden ring, then each end resulting in her resurection will lead to the repetition of the circle. Indeed, if she decided to destroy it the 1st time, then it mean she will try again.
I don't understand exactly what the rune of death is. There are still dead people in the other endings right? How does that work?
well.. now i wonder.. what happened to melina after that
Melina survival is all that matters
Age of Order looks like the best ending
Our Tarnished Order is the best kind of Fate because when you look at every other ending it has the same flaw
Who is to say the Star or Dusk ending is better when both also rest in the ones inheriting the Power
Lord forbid it but has anyone tried to attack Ranni during her ending? It would be a perfect mirror to Dark Souls 3.
Apart from that it is clear that the game has a lot of cut content with NPC quests just ending even though they clearly say they need to do something still. I think there would of been another ending where we find a Heir to the Throne, someone who'd mend the Elden Ring in our place and would bring a new age but I guess they didn't know who to use for that one so they cut it.
