  1. If you run scav because you are low on rouble there is an infinity ak craft technique that only cost 10k-15k ish rouble, you can search the tutorial on hans video if I remember correctly the title was why you should using ak

  2. A Scav is a good change of things if Tarkov destroyed you again. Otherwise I've only seen the scav as a tool when times are rough or want to maximise my money/quest item/hideout item output.

  3. For me its a psychology thing: I often cant handle a PMC run from a stress level but i can still play a Scav run.

Tarkov can be such a stressfull game and sometimes its the only way for me to play at all.

But your points are obviously right and getting more confident is important for getting more out of the game.

  4. Scav Woods at night , Bank, play pmc, Die, scav Woods at night etc etc I've played like that for a very long time and it works for me. I enjoy the rpg/trading/crafting side of the game and nearly always leave with a full back pack on woods. Each to their own I guess. Keep up the great work

  5. i am too scared to go in solo with my pmc. Its like i get killed much much more with my pmc than with my scav also i most often die like 3 mins into the raid thats why scav is a more viable option for me personally even though it makes more sense to go in with my pmc

  6. I run my scav on factory. In and out 4 min. This is my first wipe and I have got 5 labs cards of it. I get some armour or a headset and maybe 60k loot. I then run my pmc get killed lose a 60 – 80k load out but don't sweat it cause the next scav run will cover my losses and in my mind I bought some exp. Also the more I run my scav and extract the higher my fence rep. The higher my fence rep the better my scav starting loadout.

  7. A counterargument to scavs slowing down progression is the pile of money you have to burn for the hideout. If you die as a PMC you lose 200-600K that could have gone into the hideout. And after the hideout is fully built, not including bitcoin 3 and air filter because of how expensive they are now, 100% of your money can go towards gear, which speeds up progression through better gear and less gear fear. I would say scavs are bad before the flea market and after the hideout if finished, but good inbetween. After the crafting money printer starts it does the job your scav does.

  8. This isn't really a money making method, the title is very misleading but none the less very valid advice. I generally scav as a warm up if it's my first time playing for the day, or whilst I'm waiting on my PMC to regen or for grabbing quest items if areas have heavy scav traffic and difficult to traverse as a PMC. I see scavs as an additional tool to aid in your PMC's progression, especially if you're down on roubles and gear.
