  1. If you haven't heard of these dystopias here:
    1. SS State of Burgundy: Comes from a mod for the game Hearts of Iron 4 called The New Order it is a world where the Axis won ww2 and in the 1950s Heinrich Himmler was given control of Belgium and a part of France after trying to overthrough Hitler, he then built a state where there are more concentration camps then houses, and they run a terrorist organization with the goal of causing a nuclear war where everyone except pure aryan's will be wiped out.
    2. Holy Russian Empire: Another state from The New Order where after the collapse of the soviet union Sergey Taboritsky conquers Russia, the resulting state is like Burgundy but instead of nukes they belive that Alexei Romanov survived the killing of the Russian royal family and will one day return to Russia and become Emperor, that doesn't happen instead Sergey Taboritsky eventually dies after a hallucination and almost the entire country of russia commits suicide except for a few.
    3. Arstotzka: This isn't really a dystopia but it is a country from the game Papers Please where you play as a guy who works at a border checkpoint, the state is inspired by East Germany and it is very easy to get arrested and sentenced to forced labor, you get barely get payed enough money to pay for food and heat, despite that people still move to Arstotzka so this is probably normal in this world.
    4. Rapture: This is from the game BioShock where the player crashes into the Atlantic and finds an underwater city, the city Rapture was founded in the 1940s by a business man named Andrew Ryan who wanted an anarcho-capitalist utopia where people would be free, the city discovered a material that gave people superhuman powers called ADAM and after a civil war everyone was either executed, went insane and destroyed everything, became a genetically engineered machine that can survive underwater, or are in hiding from the chaos causing the collapse of the city.
    5. Terran Federation: From the book and movie Starship Troopers, this takes place many centuries into the future where the Earth has united under a militarized state where only veterans (citizens) can vote, It came about after a rise of juvenile delinquency and groups of veterans took control of governments around the world to establish order, people have called the state fascist.
    6. Squid game: From… squid game. You probably already know what this is, it isn't a state but an organization where people are forced to play children's games (if you lose you get killed) and the person who wins gets 45.6 billion won.
    7. Wellington Wells: This is from the game We Happy Few, you can play as three different people who try to escape from the dystopian state. it is also from an alternate history where the Axis won ww2, Britain got naval invaded by the germans and surrendered but Wellington Wells did… something that led to the germans voluntarily giving up the island but leaving the inhabitants traumatized, they created a drug called Joy that gets rid of all negative memories and leaves them in a euphoria, it is addictive and leads to them being more susceptible to manipulation, the city pumps the drug into the water supply to keep them down. Those who refuse the drug are force given joy or killed and everyone where's these masks that force there face into a constant smile.
    8. Night City: This is from the game Cyberpunk 2077, The City was founded by a business man who wanted a Utopia where urban planing would cause crime to be irradiated, instead the city became owned by massive corperations while various gangs fight with each other, If one person goes against the city the entire building they live in is destroyed, the rest of the world is also collapsing due to these corporations.
    9. The Running man (the name is just the US): The book The Running man is from the 1980s where in 2025 the US becomes a Totalitarian state after an economic crash and the government runs a game show where someone is hunted down around the world by a bunch of elite hitman and if you can survive 30 days you win 1 billion dollars.
10: Beholder (The country doesn't have a name): The game beholder takes place in a totalitarian state where the player searches people's apartments and catching anyone who goes against the state, the state has mass surveillence everywhere.

11: Cabal Empire: It is from the game destiny 2 and I don't know that much about this other than that it is an alien empire inspired by the roman empire and trying to invade earth.

  2. Lots of people got shocked by their HRE playthrough, but among all the Russian warlords the only one haunted me was Aryan Brotherhood. It was fortified later by the Black League defeating Aryan Brotherhood's unique event. I had to google up Dobroslav and realizing he is literally made into a psycho IRL to feel better
