A driver who killed a pregnant soap actress filmed himself speeding moments before collision.
The crash killed pregnant Hollyoaks star Frankie Jules-Hough and put her son in a coma.
Adil Iqbal, 22, tailgated and undertook other vehicles in his father’s BMW car as he reached 123mph on the M66.
Iqbal, was driving with one hand and holding his phone with the other, has been jailed for 12 years.

This would count as vehicular manslaughter rather than vehicular homicide.
If this person intentionally tried to run the victim over, that would change it to homicide.
Regardless, this is terrible and has had a profound effect on the victims family.
The term was too short but I’m not sure if it is possible to get a true life sentence for a manslaughter. (In the U.K., murder now can get a LIFE sentence, not just 12 years)
This over lenient sentence is a direct result of the lammy review tackling racial disparity in the criminal justice system
