  1. So, maybe I missed this suggestion in an earlier episode, but…

Even though you are only building BB, is there merit to, every time you decide a new design is merited, to instead make 2 designs… one "heavy" battleship and one "fast" battleship?

  2. I most strongly recommend you reserve some dockyard space to refitting older ships.
While some of the early pre-dreadnought hulls are pretty much a waste of space at this point, if you are going to use them, use them with the latest and greatest of your equipment. Each refit only costs 1 month in time and you have enough money for it.

  3. Those French BB's are really only adding extra monthly expense. They're slow and just awful. Easier to just scrap them and recoup some dough.

Also, the torpedo avoidance button only applies to the non-command ships in a division. You'll still have to try (I say try because the enemy AI seems to be an absolute wizard when it comes to torps) to avoid with the flagship.

  4. "Sir, we've got their new top of the line dreadnought salvo'd with like 12 torpedos, it's rudder has been severely damaged and an engine is out."

Victoria Louise: "and I took that personally"

  5. if you wonder what is the lead ship double click on the formation instead of the ships, it will bring you straight to the formation leader amongst the 5 ships, or however manny is in the formation.

  6. RIP the ship named after my hometown. Its captain really must've been drunk (or just plain stupid).

But damn, Victoria Louise did a number on those ships. Would've loved to get a look at the ship stats at the end of that battle to see just how bad she mauled the British fleet there.

  7. Can you play “European War 6: 1914” by EasyTech? It’s a very fun strategy game, (heads up, the maps are terrible. Very inaccurate historically) but, it’s very fun. It has a “campaign” play option and the first campaign is the American Civil war! I think you’ll like it. When on campaign, you get to play and enjoy several historical battles and you win gold and medals which can buy you historic generals. S. Grant is free! You get him in the begging of the campaign, (I think, either that or the middle of it, or I was just lucky, I got him.), some more generals, (civil war alone) Sherman, Jackson, Robert E. Lee, McClellan, Sheridan, and Meade! + WAY more Generals from Europe and the Ottoman Empire. There is also a conquest play option, and it’s exactly what it seems like. Conquest the whole map with your Allie’s! Just select the time period that is available, (us civil war is one of them), while you’re at it, you should check out all of EasyTech’s games. They’re famous for their horrible maps, but good and exiting game experiences! You should do a series. I’ll be the first to watch. 💯💯💯. Anyway, sorry for the long comment. Just thought I’d let you know, by the way, love your stuff. Keep at it. Cya! 👋🏻👋🏻😁😁

  8. The Torpedo autoavoid does not work for the lead ships of a division, those you have to micromanage. Also your new dreadgoughts running with a 11% weight offset wich imparts a big accuracy penalty. Try a bit more balancing on your new ships next time 😉
