  1. It’s definitely YouTube that’s affecting many channels with this kind of content. For what it’s worth, a lot of creators talk about YouTube pushing SHORTS to help with exposure, even though they’ve never used that feature before. Maybe try Sneak Peeks to upcoming content with SHORTS and see if it helps numbers in any way 🤷‍♀️
    Glad you’re feeling better! 💜

  2. Oooh yay! Glad to hear you're on the path to mending! It's been such a trip hearing how you've been doing since last year so the good news is wel!and good to hear, hope it gets better going forward!

The stories and whole vids that have been coming through have been really good thus far too and they've really had a nice harmonious lead up with their predecessors even if it's felt slow going. It's still given a lot to be anticipated about and, especially hearing about Elliot and Avior's stories coming to a wrap in their S1, excited for those as they come!

Alsooo, yesss to the cutie/Geordi discussion! I've loved how you've handled their relationship thus far with care and thought as you negative the harder aspects of realistic relationships through and especially so on the idea of boundaries between couples as well unchecked trauma. It's been marvelous to keep up with and it's great to hear we'll be seeing things get better soon

Morgan's story continuing has also got me excited especially as we uncover lore about the seers and as we dive more into Morgan as a person, it's fun and I'm gonna be happy to see where it goes!

Anywhooos, that's all from me! Have a great February!

  3. It's really nice to hear that things are going a lot better for you, and I hope it stays that way, at least for a little while. It's interesting to hear that you had that debate on where Geordi's story should go, and it definitely seems that this one is the better one just because you're right. Not everything can be solved in one argument, and we definitely need more of that representation for not only standing up for yourself and setting those boundaries, but to also show that sometimes there comes a point where you do need to seek that help.

  4. It’s really, really lovely that you’re doing better! I was hoping that would be the case when I saw this video pop up. I don’t know if—though better—you’re at 100% yet, but if not, I hope that’s on the way super soon and if so, I hope it stays there and above.

When it comes to Damien and Ollie’s videos, I think the messages you wanted to convey were clear and you could tell that those messages meant a lot to you in the videos themselves. And I adored getting those solo, platonic videos from Damien and Huxley this month.

“It’s cool that you can kinda be surprised by something of your own creation like that.” It really is! And I’m over here in the Blake section trying to hone in on your tone and word choice to pry out how we’re ‘meant to’ feel about this character lol.

“Oily” Vega—I feel like after that video my long-held ‘corruption arc’ guess is wrong (I was so sure lol oof) and Warden will likely be chipped down until they are no longer themself and they won’t even realize that’s what’s happening until it’s too late?

Geordi, my boy! I’m glad you decided to stick to the narrative arc you had planned. I’m not sure where it would have headed otherwise, but I think exploring consent and boundaries like this was interesting. I expected even more (smaller) bumps in the road for them with Cutie’s unlearning path ending up being a little non-linear, but it’s good that whenever they do come back it’ll be easier for the two of them.

My guesses for things are usually wrong lmao so I’m willing to bet my ‘Aaron = Elliott’s estranged brother = person Elliott called’ is wrong, but guessing is too fun to not do it anyway.

Thanks for this. Hope you take care!

  5. im very glad the geordi/cutie arc happened 🫶🏼 i love that we have their relationship, they're the best example that sometimes it doesn't work and sometimes you have to work on yourself before being able to work on a relationship. i love em very much ToT

  6. Erik: January's engagement level was so bad
Me, who also had a hellscape end to 2022, fell hopelessly behind, and hasn't listened to any of January's videos: …….Yeeeeah, 'bout that

Seriously, though, January is a slow month for literally every business I know (except those which profit off the Resolution industry, ahem, gyms). It was slow in retail and its slow in market research. My theory is that, after the holiday season, everyone is burned out on life and literally no one wants to do anything 🤣

I'm so glad you're feeling better!! I look forward to more warm and fuzzy things and Avior
not like I like him or anything
I'm just invested in the plotline

  7. in a way it was fine that Asher's backstory wasn't much explored in the past, as it wasn't a necessary thing for him
most his issues explored weren't originating from his past, but acting like his role in the pack and his relation with David

and yeah, Geordi's story is a compelling one, when there's something broken in a relationship^, and it affects the trust between the parties, you can't fix it overnight, and with the talk audio ending with listener still going on with the usual antics, it's very clear it was coming to a head, and i think the story would have lost a huge part of itself if it was rewritten to be "fixed"
life isn't easy, it's hard and messy, very messy, and fixing a behaviour even when we know it hurts those around us is insanely hard without a push or help, Geordie gave that push for Cutie, but it's still on them to go the rest of the way, and i can't wait to see how that story progresses (and all the other stories being told and that have yet to be told, it's been a while i 've been this invested in a universe nad i'm loving every second of it)

  8. Always a treat to hear behind-the-scenes stuff. Especially fun to hear about Morgan, cause I freaking love him but have the worst time articulating why- even to myself. Cause he’s kinda sad, but also happy- brave and strong in a weird unique way? See? Like, what am I even saying. Idk. But hearing about the specific tensions in play under the surface makes SO MUCH SENSE.

  9. So glad and relieved to hear that you're feeling better these days! I hope your trek towards full strength is speedy and devoid of obstacles.
All the releases this past month were amazing but Ollie and Damien's audios really hit home. Ollie's words were ones I needed to hear, and they felt very comforting and also like firm encouragement to have the courage needed to advocate for myself when I've often failed to do so. Damien's situation is one that I fear and hope not to experience but hearing him open up about it and recieve support from the freelancer was incredibly cathartic. Seeing his growth in his ability to lean on his friends is amazing and I'm so proud of him.
I admit it took me a little time to work up to listening to Geordi's audio; I'm so glad that he's standing his ground and it comes across so clearly that his request comes from a place of love and a deep desire to rescue their relationship; I think if he didn't care as much he might not fight so hard to get Cutie into a better mindset, but the fact that he's pushing himself to hold his ground is proof that he wants this to work out more than anything. I'm always so delighted by your conviction to make and post stories that you want to, regardless of what tends to be popular or what YouTube decides to be fussy about. I literally just wrote a huge wall of text to my friend (who doesnt watch but has subscribed so she can send me screenshots of video thumbnails with the eyes emoji to prompt me to infodump about the newest audio and I love her for it) about how much I love how you defy so many expectations about this kind of content. All your stories are so engaging and I'm so glad youve garnered such a large audience despite not only posting videos designed to rack up the view count. There's nothing wrong with the fluffy or spicy audios of course! But the fact that there's more story to all the characters than that is what drew me in and kept me here. Keep up the amazing work dude, I'm beyond excited for everything coming up 😁

  10. I absolutely love Erik’s depiction of Geordi’s playlist since I think it’s one of the most realistic plots on the channel that almost everyone has experienced but I love how he portrays both characters perspective of their past traumas especially mentioning that cuties habit that can’t be solved from one discussion. I’ve seen so many ppl online just hating on his listener wishing they’d just broken up and ty so much Erik for mentioning that having an argument and leaving isn’t going to solve anything and ppl are capable of change and can heal it really brings a message ig to the listeners who have been in geordis shoes before that this is a possibility and if you really love someone you’d wanna help them. I myself have been in cuties shoes before and I’ve healed now but I’ve unintentionally hurt a lot of ppl and I wish I knew what I was doing was wrong and I got help sooner before they pushed me away, it’s nice to see for once a character like cutie who isn’t portrayed as the bad guy but rather misunderstood
