  1. You've gotten really good at fighting the Jabberwocky (the second boss) since you first played this game. I am enjoying the content Wander and love watching you play the game at your own pace and enjoyment.

  2. In case you missed it in the relevant video and actually care (it's not a big deal): Recharge is a perfectly fine upgrade for Mini Clip runs, it makes your reload trigger more often. The problem you had that one time was with the Ethereal rune that gives you infinite ammo every 50 kills. Can't reload if you never use up any bullets.

I'm glad that I stuck through the Darkness levels, but man there were some I wasn't even gonna try. I won't spoil them all. I'll just say that up to 14 is manageable with just not getting hit, the same as any other run. Darkness 15 makes at least one movement upgrade mandatory if you wanna beat the deer boss. Which is annoying but movement is pretty good anyway.
Basically, I was okay with this game's ascension levels (in its current state) even though I'm not a fan of them in general.

  3. I'm definitely feeling the Ascension curse in Ratropolis. Actually managed to win with some meme-y stuff at lower levels but later on you have to play faster and go for what really works (if you can pull it). Still fun, but not as much choice in terms of playstyle.

  4. You should try the achievement for the "Pacifist". Basically the same build you just used here, i think. Big summons. Use a high damage weapon. Fun times. 🙂

EDIT: I would also say that it'w worth doing the progression. I'm a "old guy" gamer and am up to 14. Mostly if you have enough meta progression (and you look like you do), you may enjoy it. I'm up to 15 but haven't finished yet…

  5. I have the same mindset when it comes to ascension levels, I don't play games to 'git gud', rather to engage with new systems and have fun that way. If ascension levels unlock a new playstyle, that's nice. If it's just harder difficulty, I don't really touch them. Same with grinding for super epic gear in ARPGs or MMOs, where you might spend a lot of time engaging with the same playstyle hours on end for an item that just gives you a slightly bigger number.

On the note of Nova Drift, I love that game! Though it feels like most of the time I watch games only from a single creator, I rarely watch that content from multiple creators. For example, UltraC is 'the Nova Drift and Rounds channel', Voyix is 'the Monster Train channel', Haelian was 'the Hades channel', PotatoMcWhiskey is 'The Civ channel'. You are (to me) more like 'the game discovery channel' as you generally play a lot of different things and investigate different styles, instead of going for 'the best build'. Maybe other people have similar watching styles, which could be what the algorithm picks up on. I would watch a few Nova Drift episodes for sure, but I'm not sure how much I'd watch an entire series. At this point the 'discovery' aspect of your channel would not be not as engaging to me when you'd do Nova Drift again (same as PotatoMcWhiskey's Nova Drift episodes, they were not as fun. Not because they were sponsored, but because he didn't get very far and it wasn't really his game type.)

  6. Do these ascension levels combine? Like for level three, is it also levels 1 and 2? If not then that feels ok, cuz then instead of not being able to use specific builds, the fun comes from finding a specific build to beat that specific ascension level

  7. RE: Game Difficulties
Games are meant to be fun, don't make them stressful for yourself. If you gotta summon, who gives a damn? And if people do care, why do YOU care what they think?

  8. Doesn’t double shot reduce the damage of your daggers? I mean it’s not big deal, but I always wonder if people are aware of this when they choose it in a summons run.

  9. I would definitely watch more Nova Drift videos, but you might want to hold off on them for a little bit, since the next update is looking to be /wild/. (Of course, you could always play now AND after the update comes out, so you don't have to worry about it. 😝)

  10. Nova Drift is one of my favorite games, will watch. Abby shotgun run with max projectiles would be insane to watch. Fusillade + Siege. Also loving the running fusillade pronunciation bit.

  11. something that just happened to me yesterday, I was playing with the starting character, I got Specialization from the chest (the one that triples the next pickup), and I picked up the magic lens. Let me tell you, it was STUPID fun. Not only do the lens cover every side, but you get the bonus from all 3 of them anywhere you shoot. It's incredible
