  1. Playing Doom seems like playing with a handicap. The entire design of the character is to pounce the enemy team, but because he has no kill potential you just end up feeding. At least with DPS Doom, you could at least trade and get value because you knew you could come faster. It's hard to watch. I just sit there and think "What is he supposed to do?" Sombra isn't supposed to be as much of an issue because her hack only lasts one second, giving you ample time to escape, so it's not like the Sombra pick was the problem. They had no fliers and the snipers weren't doing shit.

  2. Doom is one of the worst tanks in ow2, worse than ball and hog, hog can solo confirm a kill and self heal, and ball has great survivability with adaptive shields and displaces enemy teams. Doom has the weaker version of all of these, his power block is a useless defensive option since you'll most likely use it while surrounded by enemies, even if you don't get cc'd out of it you'll need to waste the powered up fist to escape. Removing the slow on his slam made it harder for him to confirm kills, and he doesn't do a good job of protecting his team.

  3. No one seems to understand that the doom changes were not done because devs thought he was too strong, people complained that he was annoying to go against also he is 100 percent gonna get buffed next patch because he's underperforming

  4. tank doom is not bad.

    what is bad, is the bigger picture he's in, because every other tank can do much more.
    what i think they could do, is compensate for the nerfs in other areas.
    the first thing i would suggest is either rework or buff his ultimate. what hasn't changed from ow1 due to his rework is the fact that you literally cannot kill anyone outside of the middle of it. I'd give it better damage fall-off in report to radius in exchange for having to charge it for longer
    the second thing i can recommend, and this goes without saying, is fixing his collision. it's no secret that no matter what doomfist you play, it's crucial the enemy player hits the wall with his ass, otherwise you don't get value.
    another thing i can suggest is at least adding more knockback to his empowered punch if they won't fix collision ever. This way, even if they slide, they'll eventually hit something.
    lastly, and i think it's just me, but i would definitely make it slightly easier to get an empowered punch.

    do note, that i think if any of these changes were to apply, the others would not be necessary, and i'd think doomfist would be a lot more accessible. as of right now, i'm pleased with his current state, since he's probably the most mobile character in the game.

  5. For goodness sake his 1 tanking ability can be countered by basic cc a sleep and a hack and that 1 tanking ability was nerfed lol he is the second worst hero in the game. But hey at least he moved up 1 spot from OW1 👍🏾

    In ow1 my 2nd golden gun but ow2 isnt as enjoyable as ow1 doomfist 🙂
    In ow2 i kinda became a junker queen main
    Maybe cuz shes new
    Or i like her abilities
