I'm having fun, if I ever hit a pay wall i'll probably stop playing at that point. Currently just a scrub 500 ilvl and have enjoyed the experience so far.
yea true.. if you want to raise your itemlvl from +20 to +25 there will most likely be t4 before this happens… but guess what…. you will also get t4 gear with your first t4 chaos dungeon and only need t3 gear+8 to have access to.
Think what you want, it is a free 2 play and henceforth its pay 2 win… you dont need to cash to reach the highest level of content, but you will need to swipe if you want to be stronger than the casual t3 player. Do you need it? no. Do you want it? yes! Do you want to enjoy your game t1-t3 without paying? yes. Do you have a bad time without money to do this? no. Will you get your gear maxed? no. Can you get into t4 when it gets released with your +20 t3 gear? yes.
Its that simple
Ok i might been wrong about +20 beeing enough to clear the whole game… it seems to be +22.. whatever… is it too much to pay 20.- for a game you play as much to reach that level even? no… but we can still hate on it as this sounds like pay 2 win, right?
I think this is the reason they delay later tiers, they know some people will beat the game in 2-3 days and destroy the economy.
He misses the point of gold. I just found a method where I can make around 1-2k gold per day in 2 hour grind. 3k gold right now can be traded for around 1k of the crystals. That's means realisticly I can make 2-6k crystals easily per week (at current time of this comment) that's means everything you can benifit from with crystals so can the normal not paying player. Difference is 1 grinds in game and 1 grinds there real job to do so lol 1 has time to be in game making money and one has a job and probably family to take care of. Either way everyone gets to the same outcome.

Here's the thing: I'm sure Russian guy is just describing the extreme cases, right ….but, even if all said was true, we often forget journey is the goal. Stoops had six months of fun, teamwork, story and content while Mr.Soupa bought his way to endgame, did "all content" in 2 days, congratulations! What are you going to do now, Mr. soupa? Your journey has just ended, dumbass!

Everybody is rushing their T3 and end game content, and here I am, 10 days in a game, taking every quest I see. Reading all the lines. Just enjoying the world of Arkesia.

Yes this does exist, you wil be able to swipe that card and do it. But it's gonna cost you ~$10-20k, if not more. But most important: Who cares? You are not losing anything because someone is swiping. Just enjoy the game and stop caring so much about what others are doing.

Remember Lostark is free to play and developer need money. Be expected to pay something. I mean if you played wow/ff u would have been used to paying anyway between 150 -300 per year just to play. So why not expect to pay that much into game.

I mean he's not wrong but its also extremely misleading what he's saying.
– First of all Mr.Soupedupe already had a character he could use to funnel mats into the sorc while it was Stoopz's "main". On our version when someone with 8-1000 ilvl makes an alt and they're already 2-300 ilvl higher than new players, simply because the person who has the alt also has a main character that can funnel unused mats into them and they understand the game more.
– Everyone using a sorc got a boost by default so they didn't have to gear through the beginning on top of them being able to save up for her release ahead of the time.
– As a F2P you're also meant to convert your gold to buy Mari items, basically while whales buy out the shop and then exchange to gold to boost their progression, you as a F2P sell on the market to gain gold which you can exchange for Crystals.
– Some KR whale players already mentioned this but when their chat asked why they don't swipe for gear upgrades they simply said its not worth spending 500-1000$ just for an "attempt" since by being at the required ilvl to enter they can already farm the raid which means getting your gear to maximum upgrades using $ is literally pointless because the odds are low so its better to funnel mats using your alts.
– For a new player to be able to swipe themselves to endgame they would literally need to be a Dubai Oil prince because one upgrade endgame can cost a fortune in terms of material value and they would have no other characters to SAVE UP materials for a new character.
If you have characters who are endgame and are able to save up for a new character you enjoy which by default gets boosted to endgame then it will take a significantly shorter amount of time to gear them up and when you combine that with swiping miracles like these could happen.
Will all that said, the game is still P2W and his content is fun to watch.
This part about "wailing 1 day to endgame raids" is yet another manipulative BS. The guy already had insane hours in the game and tons of resources, he just boosted an alt, which is infinitely easier than playing from scratch. The game has P2W problems, but intentionally lying about it only discredits you further. A truly fresh player cannot reach endgame in 1 day regardless of how much he swiped.
