  1. Well put. I had an extraordinarily similar journey. Once truly converted to Christ through love of God and fellow mankind it never leaves you. An orthodox priest , Fr. Nicholas , brought me to that incredible and eternal gift. Many years.

  2. Yes, if you convert a person to Christ and doesn’t impose your views, you convert him to Orthodoxy. There is no more close to Christ type of Christianity than Orthodox Christianity

  3. Eastern Orthodox theology is heresy. There is no real distinction between the unknowable Super Essence of God and the knowable uncreated energy of God. The Eastern Orthodox heretics are Polytheists

  4. Okay, all Protestants are wrong. The only true Christianity is found in Orthodox. When you come to the belief in Jesus as your savior you'll need to work everyday to make sure you keep your salvation….this sounds worse that Calvinism, btw. And this coming from a guy who admittedly took psychedelics that he knows for sure that he experienced was from God.

Humble yourself Father for you're not dealing with scripture but mere feelings from your experience. .

  5. 9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven. 9 And call no man your father on earth, for you have one Father, who is in heaven. 9 And don't address anyone here on earth as 'Father,' for only God in heaven is your spiritual Father.

  6. God says don’t convert to either.

    Isaiah 45:20

“Assemble yourselves and come; draw near together, you (the children of Israel) who have escaped from the nations.
They (the gentile nations) have no knowledge, who carry the wood of their carved image, and pray to a god that cannot save.”

Instead, convert to being a Noachide.

  8. Asceticism is inverted pride. Exclusivism is a false gospel. Performance is a false gospel. Removing yourself from the world as a Monastic sounds like the opposite of what Christ's love would do, invert rather than convert.

  10. God is love.
We all fall short and sin.
    Love is just and merciful.
Because God is loving He must judge sin, we all stand judged and are due to face His wrath as slaves of sin.
Because God is merciful He provided a way out from under the weight of the law, His wrath, and a way for us to be regenerated.
If we trust Jesus shed His sinless blood, died and rose from the grave He forgives us of our sins and gives us a new heart that wants to look God as our Father genuinely and delight in Him, freeing us from being slaves to sin.
The rest is our mind catching up with that reality and taking hold of His teaching and truth until He returns, or we die.

We aren't saved or kept saved by obedience. We can only be lost through unbelief (trusting in our own righteousness, to be or remain saved) or blasphemy of the Holy Spirit (attributing clear works of God, healing/deliverance, to demons and Satan).

Commandments aren't have to's, they are what we do because we actually want God's direction and It's what fulfills us.
You can't be born again without the desire to honor God. (Works based salvation "Christians" and those who believe you can have the Holy Spirit without receiving the desire to honor the Father are both wrong.)
We love because God first loved us.

Jesus is God, the Son, "the first and the last", God along with God the Father "the Lord God", this title is mentioned with being tied to God in Isaiah 44:6-8, and that same is sent along with the Lord God's Spirit in Isaiah 48:11-16.
Jesus further claims this title also in Revelation 1:8-17.
Leave catholicism/orthodox/protestant churches that preach strife, or inform them.
