Does Rockstar really hate PC gamers?

War Thunder is a highly detailed vehicle combat game containing over 2,000 playable tanks, aircraft, and ships spanning over 100 years of development. Immerse yourself completely in dynamic battles with an unparalleled combination of realism and approachability.

The exclusion of PC in the GTA 6 trailer adds to Rockstar’s years of perceived PC negligence. Despite the growing popularity of PC gaming, Rockstar shows no signs of changing its practice regarding its PC player-base anytime soon.

  2. Rockstar games are smart they're a reason why PC port isn't available day one, hacks, ddos, leaks, ip shit it's easier to dig into a game's files and codes when you have the files on PC so I strongly believe rockstar is taking precaution measures to not get clapped on too much because as we all know anything is possible

  3. 2:20 – False, PC, PS2, PS3, PS4, PS5, XBOX, XBOX 360, XBOX ONE, XBOX X, etc.. all run on a GPU which has support for OpenGL and a CPU with an x86 architecture, do you really think game companies go around and simply buy every possible CPU and GPU combination to compile for PC??? Are you that misinformed?? Why are you making these kinds of videos if you have no idea what you are takling about.
    I can compile a game written from scratch in C right now and make it work on any PC on any OS as long as it's x86, linux, haiku, windows, etc… Then the same code I can take and simply compile it using the dev kit of PS/XBOX and make it run on those systems….
    If you want salt on the wound, PS5 has a proprietary modified OpenBSD clone but XBOX is LITERALLY a stripped down windows using DirectX12, THEY DO NOT REQUIRE ANY EXTRA WORK, IT'S ALL BULLSIHT

    The real reason is because the inept devs do crap like:

    if ( controller.button.X >= 0.3 ) {
    // Run code
    }

    They have 0 generalization, they hard code all their crap and use proprietary libraries for the PS5/XBOX, instead of using something like Vulkan that can work on any system, it's all rockstar's fault and these are all excuses from companies that know nothing. I have over 10 years a a developer and of those 10 years 3 of them are game dev, all these companies have no excuses but BAD management and BAD developers.

  4. Piracy is by far the main reason why they never release on PC, because Rockstar knows that they cannot avoid piracy anyways.

    At the same time, they will probably update the game by adding First Person mode to GTA VI, or maybe they will add this anyway on console release.

    I do not have anything else to say about that.

  7. They hate PC Gamers, not because of piracy, or because they need to polish the game more,
    but simply because PC Gamers are not easily scammed for money when it comes to the shark cards and micro-transactions.
    Console gamers are already paying bunch of money just to be able to play online, so they are easier to part with more money.
    Realistically, 2-3 months after the consoles would be fair, but more than enough to polish the game properly.

    BUT the funniest thing out there is, that actually Sony, will be releasing their "Exclusive" games to PC faster than R* does, their plan for the future is to release them in-between 6-12 months after PS release.

  8. As someone with 4k hours in War Thunder I am going to have to dislike the video for your dishonest “one developer that protects and supports their pc player-base is war thunder”. I am guessing if Rockstar gave you enough money you would say the same thing, zero integrity.
